It's truly not healthy having a high-fat diet. Just because you are losing weight, it doesn't mean you are getting healthier.

Never said it was healthy, but he's only doing it for a month, and a short month at that. I don't think it will affect him that much. And vegetable oil is ALOT worse than animal fat, but people think just the opposite.

I would never do it. I like bacon, but not that much!

as much as I like bacon I wouldn't want to do that, especially not the way that it's cooked in America which borders on incinerated.

Is that the standard way it's done in the states because every time i've had it for breakfast in restaurants over there it's always done to a crisp.

You can tell them how you want it. I like mine crisp. When my brother lived in Scotland for 3 years then came home, he was cooking bacon and he basically just warmed it. The fat wasn't even clear. Is that the way you like it too? Mom told him to put it back in the pan and cook it done!
