I had to endure my 11 year old boy storming off to bed in tears of rage 3 times last night, after Chelsea's equaliser, because he was convinced his beloved Utd were going to lose, only to have him in floods of tears of joy at the end.
I for one know of no other sport / game that can provide so much nerve jingling, nail biting entertainment over a couple of hours. And before the US responses come in, yes I have seen the Lakers play at Staples and yes I have seen the Raiders several times and many years ago the Rams!!!!
US presentation and facilities are light years ahead and our two cultures will never agree on sport, but for a converted American , there is no game like soccer and last night was a classic!
As for other occasions and for darth trafford in particular, the last time i was at the theatre of dreams (my sons first visit) was for a 0-0 draw with Blackburn. I was bored to death!!!!!

yeah, ok. My sister in law wants my brother to move to Florida. So I guess he'll drag me to Dolphins or Jacksonville or whatever!!!!

Thankfully John Terry stepped up and lost his nerve like a true Englishman and allowed Giggs and Van Der Sar to bring the trophy back to Manchester.
