I'd have been happy if HT had included the sword and shield with the WW84 figure even though she didn't use them in that movie.

Options friend. And the good thing with her cloak is that there are slots for the arms. The seamless body could still be shown off with the cloak if someone wanted.

I mean I want to be excited. But this is just a pic of an official photo of Gal Gadot, cut and pasted onto a picture of a base. They literally just cut the head of one pic, and posted it on another, then cut the hands off entirely for some reason.

I hear you Rory, and if there was nothing more to go on I would be underwhelmed also.

But this “development” does make me more confident that they are going to do a BvS Wonder Woman.

Also, look what they did with the Paul Atreides sculpt most recently, it looks so much like him. I believe InArt is going to give collectors a next level Gal Gadot likeness that will surpass even the Hot Toys WB 100 Wonder Woman.

I know there have been some QC issues with InArt forum members have had to deal with (personally I haven’t experienced any issues), but I guess at this point I just trust InArt to produce better detailed, less toy-like 1/6 scale figures. I say this as a person who loves Hot Toys figures.

To be honest I wouldn't use the cloak either. Wouldn't want to cover the armour and seamless body but if they do include it, the god killer sword or something else not from BvS I wouldn't complain.

I guess I just don’t set myself up for disappointment cause I only expect what’s related to the specific license or look. It also wouldn’t be accurate to BvS WW. But hey, to each one’s own. Everyone collects the way they choose!

I think the god killer sword would be harder to justify because you can't really make it out in BvS but the cloak is there clear as day so if their license only covers BvS then they could absolutely make it if they wanted to.

As I recall she only wore the darker armor in BvS. Kind of hard to tell how shiny it was in that black & white photo but what the hell, I say have at it.

She only had darker, muted armor, correct. Like others have said, I think they just spread out her armor pieces to indicate what she comes with. But Idk, I won’t really comment on that given the grainy as hell picture.

Oh I wouldn't expect any extra pieces or complain if they aren't included.

99% of the time I'm just gonna have her standing there holding the sword and shield. I haven't even changed Superman's hands yet let alone have him using the accessories.

We won’t know for sure until it’s released. But if I were to guess, they’d probably go for the upper body and legs in silicone most likely, similar to how HT have done with the WB100 and 1984 versions. I doubt they would do the seamless neck to head connection like what JND has done with Joker and Catwoman, unless they’re developing their version of it right now. It would most likely dramatically increase the price to JND prices I bet though.

Yeah I'm curious how they decide to go about the seamless body/sections. Hmm, for me I think (in addition to the presumably silicone body) I'd like to see interchangeable sculpted upper torsos in multiple gestures so one can have her posed indefinitely, but we'll see how they ultimately do so.

Been waiting for this since they announced it two years ago. She'll look amazing next to my WB100 WW and Golden Armor WW. It'll be the ultimate Gal Gadot WW display.

Maybe some of her armor will actually be metal. Her sword certainly will be. The Lasso of Hestia should be some kind of durable fabric- the Hot Toys lassos have always been skinny things prone to fraying. I'm interested to see what expression they end up going with. It would be cool to have a battle expression and a resting expression, but two rooted sculpts is probably too much to ask for.
