Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Epic awesomeness man! How did you fix the neck on him?

Thanks man! Commtech cam up with a method where you dremel out these ridges inside the neck so that the rubber socket can sit deeper inside, ultimately making it sit lower in the body :exactly:

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

He's a beauty Marf! And one of my all time favorite characters/movies as well. :exactly:

What did you do for the broken leg?

Also, I love the butterfly! :rock How did you make it?

Thanks Mag, it seems we have very similar tastes :exactly:

I actually took everything from the knee joint down off of a spare narrow TT I had and popped in onto the Edward body, quick and easy fix! Although now I have a legless narrow, so I may go back and just replace the knee joints :slap

For the butterfly, I took the image from the picture below, manipulated and duplicated it to create all sides of the butterfly, and printed it off. Then I just fed a small piece of thin black thread through the body to simulate legs/secure it to the blade :thud:

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Nice work with the butterfly!

I bet it was a pain getting that suit over the legs!

And yep: very similar tastes! :duff

Actually Cadaver, McClane is an Elvis1976 creation. He did John and Maximus for me, two of my most prized figures. But here's what I know about the figure:

Body - Comedian
Tank Top - Enterbay Bruce Lee White Singlet
Feet- Soldier Story
Sculpt - Sunohc

He would have to tell you where he got all the accessories :)

Good luck!

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Right I new that too. guess I was just hoping you would know. Can't wait to see your finished Indy in the case!

Sorry I couldn't be more help :( I picked out the head, body and tank top and handed it over to Seb so he could work his magic :lol

I can't wait for Indy to be finished either, he's been headless for a year and a half! :thud:

The collection is looking BAD ASS, Dane!!! :rock

Thanks man! :1-1:

Re: MarfMaster's Mix

Well considering your John is what made me decide to do one, I would say you helped enough! I've got everything but the walkie talkie. I don't you if you are interested and you already have a customize Seb one, but the Royce tank top is really nice for a McClane.

The Royce tank top would definitely work, but I think I prefer the Bruce Lee singlet because it's "lower cut" if that makes sense. There's a lot of exposed chest. :lol

For the walkie talkie, how about the radio that comes with the HT T-1000? https://cgi.ebay.com/Hot-Toys-TERMI...705?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3362223f59
