I just realized I have that Goebbles desk. I forgot I have the Goebbels figure. It's been years since I last tortured it.

No one gonna miss it out
Thank you, that's a relief. I think the words "limited stock" has us all worried. Hopefully this means there is plenty of stock available? As long as there are plenty to go around, I am in no rush and don't mind waiting for you to list it for order/ship it when it's most convenient for you @Kit Chen.

Only people that will miss out will be those whose wives forbid them to make the purchase. So play nice with your wife and butter her up so she won't issue you an ultimatum.

I don’t know what these wives things are, but they sound like a detriment to your mental health. A lot of “forbidding” and “buttering” sounds like it would (quickly) take its toll on a person.

I think those that mentioned that the "limited" implies that this initial release is limited, and that there will be a "regular" release might be right.

This figure should have a second sculpt with a slight smile portrait or maybe even just the raised eyebrow. That's how I remember Napier playing Alfred in the '66 series, with a clever smile or smirk, to show he was in on the secret, pulling the strings, and always maintaining the lie for Master Bruce with whomever was on the other end of the Batphone line.

If this had been a multi-sculpt, deluxe preorder set, it probably wouldn’t sell through, or slowly. The fact that we’re getting one sculpt and multiple outfits, plus accessories is pretty good. The figure was probably fit into a small production window, riding on the back of something else they were producing (Riddler perhaps), thereby not cutting into the factory time for figures people usually want companies (like Mars) to concentrate on. It’s good business sense and gives us…Alfred. A figure I thought I’d never, EVER see in 1/6 scale.

Yeah that expression is how I remember him a lot more than the deadpan one Mars gave us.
Honestly, I think MT rushed this and also under estimated how many people want Alfred. Yes the expression should have been a better as well as other sculpts like their other figures.
I do think the sculpt is dull, lifeless and actually quite cartoonish if you compare it to any photo of Napier in the role. It's still a fantastic figure - considering it's a cheaper third party release - and I do believe these are simply toys at the end of the day, so some compromise from reality is acceptable.

Mars sculpts tend to look cartoonish and caricature-like - we can see that here and with Riddler, while Joker was covered up in a lot of face paint to hide that fact - but their stuff is fun, relatively accurate and mostly just satisfying and fulfilling due to their dedication to the Batman '66 concept. What they deliver for the price can't be beat with this line. However, I'm hoping and expecting something more lifelike and accurate for Newmar's Catwoman. I won't accept artistic interpretation or caricature on that character.

Pretty glad they postponed this as the hype has worn off now and I feel less inclined to buy it. The selling point for me was the cool accessories light up phone and bust on the table - but I don't need it to display around B&R.

This exactly the kind of drop off that would happen more often if it were a long preorder.
