Do we know that OSK is the only place that’s getting these? I’ll probably wait to get it there either way, it just makes it more confusing to me why Mars would start making a big deal about the imminent release if the only place carrying it wasn’t going to put them up for a couple weeks…

Yeah, it's a bit weird. I'm cool with waiting, but the messaging makes it confusing as to where this thing can be purchased. So, does this mean we're all waiting for a few weeks until OSK gets them, or is there some other place that already has them for order?

Yes the messaging is beyond confusing. Why would Mars publicly say it’s being released on Wednesday and then nothing happens.

You could infer that more might be available later, and maybe from other retailers too, but Mars could only produce a small number before the factory shuts down for the Chinese new year. Kit is their main retailer so he gets that first limited quantity.

CNY begins 29th January and officially ends 4th February. However, factories usually close down for two to four weeks.

He is. He's also an Admin on their FB group.

I don't know that they're secretive about that but they don't answer many questions. When they do they sometimes misunderstand them due to the language barrier, or they respond ironically so there's no straight answer.

I think Kit's encouraged them to try to be more responsive since I told him that collectors were becoming concerned by the lack of news. Shortly after that things seemed to start happening, but I think they prefer to be left alone to do their own thing. (They previously dissuaded people from asking for updates).
