The ice cream is from the first Mr freeze episode.
I hope that's Mars's super clever secret code that Mr. Freeze is coming (though I'd prefer Preminger)

I recognize that. Freeze freezes the pool after he has everyone wade into it.
Episode's called "Green Ice", I think.
Wait...you're also a Buffy fan? While I have the Blu-ray set of the series I keep a copy in mp4 format on my PC for easy reference, and every time I open one of the files I get the same warm and fuzzy feeling that I get whenever I watch an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
For its low budget some of the sets are pretty atmospheric, even in the impoverished third season in between episodes with only hints of sets against a black backdrop.
I wrote before that my first memory of the '66 Batman was sitting on the floor watching TV at the age of maybe four or five, and seeing the softball Joker. He was so scary and sinister, yet I couldn't tear myself away. It's one of the few early memories that burned themselves into my brain.
As I grew up I looked on the series with scorn because it was so campy and goofy, and at odds with the darker, more gothic comics from which Burton made his movies. Back then I saw Burton as the antidote to the silly '60s series.
Then something changed. I can't remember exactly when. Possibly when Hot Toys released their Batman and Robin, and on rewatching I found I could overlook the comedy and the cartoon physics, and see the villains for the sinister and sadistic characters they were. In 1/6 the characters can be either goofy or deadly serious, because in essence they're live action versions of the Silver Age of comics.
It's funny how the mind plays tricks. I associate '66 Alfred with a bowler hat as a badge of his Britishness, but going through every episode he rarely wore one in the first two seasons. In the third it was more common, but only in five episodes:
S03E05
S03E08
S03E11-13
+1 for me. My two all-time favorites are Buffy and (shocking) Angel. Angel took character development to another level.Buffy's probably my favourite series of all. The characters, writing, dialogue, acting, everything just came together so well.
Might be better to offer those villains as a multi pack.I hope the line goes long enough to give us 2 or 3 of the villains created for the show. Egghead, King Tut, and maybe Bookworm…? Most of them would be a hard sell, though. I can almost see talking myself into buying Louie the Lilac once we already had all the main ones. Almost…
Kinda relieved we didn’t get a smiling Alfred sculpt now.
