Everyone who is stressing. Are you stressing because you want this figure now? The more I read everything Kit has put out it does appear he (KIt) is getting an early limited release. Does not sound like it's a limited release, in general. This will have a regular release, just a limited one for Kit right now.

I'm not bothered about getting it right now; I'm more concerned about being able to get it at all. Shouldn't have to deal with this sort of ordering issues on anything. Just like HT's bulls**t Artisan crap -- it should be "place your order and you'll get it eventually." Having to lose sleep just so you get up at the right time to be able to place an order is ridiculous -- or compromise your job because one is too busy ignoring work to keep refreshing a page to make sure you're on at the exact moment you need to be. Total garbage way to do things.

I get the frustration but it's hardly a new problem in toy collecting. Transformers fans had to deal with obscure times and dates on exclusive releases for years (see SDCC hasbrotoyshop pre hasbro pulse), matty collector releases that sold out in minutes, mondo limited editions same deal and mezco exclusives with broken checkout. And honestly, if product quantity is limited, I'm not sure if it's better to have a set time or not. I'm inclined toward *not*

But in this case I don't think it's near as limited as people think. It's already been estsblished one person was able to put 1K in his cart. Who knows, could be more. And that may just be the first wave he's getting early. Kit has as much as said that he's limiting purchases while CNY is going on to handle traffic and get orders packed to ship asap no holds. That won't last forever, he's just shortstaffed while CNY is going on.

Again, I realize its a bit of a pain and inconvenience. But I think if people can just have a little patience and restraint, no one is going to be shut out for too much longer. And each order one less person likely to fight for the item next time! It's been 60 years, whats a few days/weeks more?

I actually like these daily drops of small batches... with the safety net of knowing ultimately there will be enough to go around.

Is this Mars's new strategy? Didn't they say Penguin will be the same, sold as an in-stock item?

That's the word, but I don't know if he'd be handled the same way. Unless this CNY experiment is doubling as a test to see how it flies for future releases. Might even out in a few days. So far people are going insane, the sky is falling and dogs and cats are looking to find an affordable condo in florida. Mass hysteria.
