What an unexpected turn. Sounds like there are still lots of questions around the mail suspension. Air freight items might be exempt from the suspension. Sounds like it’s mostly meant to stop small slow-boat parcels from the likes of Temu. Still may be hope our Alfred’s remain unaffected 🤞

Never mind my 1/6 scale figures, what's going to happen to my mail order bride that shipped from China today? I just don't know how long she can last in that box. I am not going to be able to sleep tonight.😩

We'll see. The tariff is meant to also stop packages less that $800 from coming in without a fee. Just flats/letters are allowed. I wonder if FedEX and DHL are next.

It looks like made it to Illinois. Can’t tell if it’ll make it forward to me or back to Kit at this point but hopeful Alfred learned a trick or two from Dick and Bruce and escapes!

Quoting myself here…awesome. Upon closer inspection, the USPS has not accepted my package yet so it’s very possible, based on the wording of the announcement that it will do 180 and head back to Kit…or worse end up in some pile to be sorted out later. I’d call the batphone if I freakin had it!

Maybe missing out the first batch of Alfreds was a blessing in disguise. :lol

I mean there's still a chance those might go through on some grandfather rule later (possible but doubt it). Anything past is just definitely going to get charged. As I understand it.

Well, this hobby is going to dry up very quickly at the rate everything else is going. I wonder if this is going to start effecting ebay, major chains and what not.

I haven't seen an impact on my business yet, but I've been a little worried as far as imports go.

Conversely it might actually help US sellers on in stock sales. Which might actually have some good come of this. About the only good I can think of. If they start adding tariffs to all sales of goods not just sold shipped from China but MADE in China we're all SOL and they can s*ck my big
