Is anyone not happy enough with the suit colour to dye it more purple/magneta yet?

Wouldn't be hard to do, but the amazing pop this colour has, which ever present in every photograph I've seen on here, means you'd be losing some of that vibrance.

It is very vibrant, and very light sensitive.

I wouldn't want to mess with the colour. It's closer to the older DVD pink-magenta...

I love the neutral smiling head. Definitely jumping on the second batch.

I always felt a little dumb for getting Hot Toys’ Adam West Batman but passing on their Burt Ward Robin, but this’ll make an awesome companion piece.

I’m jumping on the second batch for an additional joker. I po’d all three plus the surfboard, but I now realize I need to display one with batman and have another riding the waves ;)

I moved him into the next shelf because there's something I've been meaning to try...

(I can't remember whether there's a nozzle under the yellow cap on the repellent. I only just thought about it. Would be uncharacteristic for Batman to commit such a schoolboy error!)

Everything people have been saying is true.

This figure is incredible!:thud:

The sculpts are fantastic, from the tiny sculpting details to the paint and the life in the eyes.

Then the sharply tailored clothing, wealth of finely sculpted hands and all the accessories.

Holding him I'm not quite sure whether I'm awake or still dreaming, because I could swear I was holding a Hot Toys figure. My hopes were high when Hot Toys teased their own '66 Joker, and then dashed as it became clear they were never really going to produce him...

Mars took that tease as their blueprint, and made him even better.

The only thing I thought could be a downside is that he's half an inch too short. He looked like he scaled well with the '66 Riddler, so the Gorshin figure must be extremely short.

However, he does stand taller than the HT Batman, and in fact I think he may be perfectly scaled next to the 6' 1 1/2" Adam West since those figures were made in a time when HT figures were traditionally shorter than they should be. A 12.5" Joker would have been too tall, so Mars made the correct decision.

:yess:
Adam West was 6’ 1”, Cesar Romero was 6’ 3”, and Frank Gershwin was 5’ 9”.

Adam West was 6’ 1”, Cesar Romero was 6’ 3”, and Frank Gershwin was 5’ 9”.

I always go to CelebHeights when I'm working on scaling figures.

Heights are barefeet estimates, derived from quotations, official websites, agency resumes, in person encounters with actors at conventions and pictures/films.

Their results are slightly different:

Adam West 6' 1 1/2”

Cesar Romero 6' 2 3/4”

Frank Gorshin 5' 8”

Burgess Meredith 5' 5 1/2”

I also noted down the equivalents in 1/6 (12.25”, 12.46”, 11.33” and 10.92” respectively), but that's all out the window now since the '66 figures are under scale so far, with the Adam West Batman being the benchmark.

That's going to be fine as they'll all be displayed together.

Well mine just landed in LAX. So hopefully I will get mine sometime in the middle of next week.

Thank you for the King Shark pic! That made my day :lol :lol definitely gonna copy that when I get my figures.

This Joker is a masterpiece! All three sculpts capture the character perfectly. Just looks a ton of fun to pose this guy.

Normal service has been resumed and King Shark returned to the Suicide Squad.

I think the Adam West sculpts are among the best Hot Toys have done.

There is a nozzle under the yellow cap, but a bit late now. :lol

I've been rewatching all the Batman movies. I watched the 66' Batman yesterday with my 2 year old daughter and she loved it. By far her favorite character was the Joker, or as she refers to him as "Yokert". She calls Batman "The Man". When they would fight she would say "go Yokert!" When it was over she immediately wanted to watch it again.

Definitely taking advantage of this as my other two never showed much interest in this stuff. I've been showing her all the different 1/6th scale Jokers on here and she loves looking at them.

Start her on soft drugs and build her up.

I always loved that movie. The big four rogues all together and all of the ridiculousness of the bomb scene, the shark scene, etc, etc. My only disappointment has always been that Newmar wasn't Catwoman for it... :(

Not to mention how jealous Robin got watching Bruce flirting with Kitka.😂
