That new sculpt looks spot on!

Sadly at Mars usual rate it'll be two years until release by which time we'll all want his look from The Batman part 2. :lol

Yeah, we'll see if Mars ever does it lol I have a lot of faith in them after all the great things they've managed to get in our hands, but I'm also over here waiting on my Gorshin Riddler, TLJ Two-Face and the Meredith Penguin (that hasn't even gone up for pre-order yet!), not to mention all the other "teases" ('66 Alfred, '66 Mad Hatter, '66 Batgirl, Bob the Goon, Vicki Vale, DeVito Penguin, Sequined Forever Riddler, Val Kilmer Bruce Wayne... Did I miss any? Lmao)

I see we're finally getting this one and the Breaking Bad figure that people have been waiting on for a while. If they do the grinning sculpt MAYBE I would bite. It's a little more "unique" and less "generic heavy-set man in a suit." The show has been making him more relevant for my collection for sure. Still not my favorite interpretation, but if this is what it takes to FINALLY get some respect on Penguin's name, all the better. He's my second favorite Batman character (after Harvey Dent), and I actually don't think there's ever been a bad adaptation of The Penguin. For all the talk about, "Joker is the most versatile Batman villain! Joker can be thrown into any media!" We've seen some truly appalling renditions, and they've only been getting more schlocky and far-removed from the "Clown Prince of Crime" since Ledger. Penguin, though? I think he IS the most adaptable Batman villain. From Burgess Meredith, to the Scooby Doo cartoons, to Danny DeVito, BTAS, The Batman 2005 series, the Arkham & Telltale games, the Gotham TV series, the new, grittier Tony Soprano take... I think the only miss has been the new Caped Crusader show, and even that wasn't AWFUL, just unneccesarily "different." Oswald is definitively adaptable.
