Just thought I would start a thread just based on all past and upcoming Marvel Archive set pics. Post your archive set pics HERE. These are really great looking pieces.

what are these made out of?

they are pretty heavy. The Capt. America mask feels like heavy polystone or metal and the shield feels like metal. But I could be wrong. The shield weight about a good 3 lbs. It is worth it, IMO. :chew

These are really cool I have the capt set sitting on my desk at work. The other day my Daughter Kate (who is 3) was there. She seen them and said "I know who's stuff that it is that's Captain America's from your comic book Daddy" she was reffering to Civil war which I was reading at home the other day. After she paused for awhile "Daddy why do you have Captain America's stuff and is that all the bigger he is?" I thought this was great and just had to share it.

damn I didn't realize how big Lurtz was until I saw him next to Doom. Do the archive pieces actually look in scale with the PF's. Like the Doom for example, is the mask and gauntlets in scale with the statue?

Looks like Lurtz is thirsty but Doom isnt havin it.........he got his eye on his chalice lol

On a side note it looks like the shelf Doom and Lurtz is on is drooping in the center a bit, be careful you got close to 40lbs on there right??......make sure it doesnt break wouldnt want those beautiful statues to get damaged in some unforseen mishap.

thanks for reminding me. I think Doom is 40 lbs by itself I just need to find time to rearrange my statues.

dang Nash...some of the boxes are not opened yet. I know what u mean. hopefully next year, my brother and I will be able to afford a bigger apartment and have our statues displayed nicely.

lol no sh*t guys. I have a PF lurtz ex, case of GG clones, Grievous PF, MR Thermal detonator SE, CS Moore statues, HT Scar Pred, 2 mara jades, 2 shocktroopers, MR shocktrooper helmet, plus more all in that corner.

I have alot of stuff back home in hawaii, i send them home periodically.

Once I get my OWN place, all this stuff is going in a nice big curio.

Give me until next fall, it will all be displayed. cant wait to get out of ND and graduate and start flying for real.
