Yeah, I usually don't consider canceling an item until I get the 20 day notice or whatever. I'm convinced I don't need these two though. Just not a big fan of the characters.

Does anyone know if I can use the $50 gift card that came with the BB boxset towards the Stealth Iron Man LSB exclusive on 2nd chance?

I add it to my cart, and enter the code, but I get a message saying nothing in my order qualifies. Should I try calling customer service?

I ordered the Goblin on 2nd chance, should be here Monday!!

man, i haven't commented on this line yet, but i just recieved some of these today, and i have to tell ya, i'm impressed. nice detail and compact, making them easy to display. unfortunately mine had some damage, but at least i finally have the chance to see some in person.

funny how all the pics in the world sometimes don't help until you actually see something in person. of course i shouldn't be surprised, after all it is a sideshow product.

I'm so tempted to get into this line. Trying to resist, but they look great. Thinking of getting Wolverine. I know I will not be able to resist if SS begins doing LSBs in the SW, Predator/Alien, and Hellboy lines.

oh let's see, it's so hard to even begin, but let's just say that out of 22 items i recieved, 11, yes 11, were damaged. including iron man, hulk, doom, ghost rider, and matching number pair of t-800 & t-1000's.sick
and that's not including the other 5-6 items that were also damaged. plus get this, there's a another box that's MIA. so let's just say that ups dropped the ball on this one. (many, many times from what i can tell form the casualties)

so needless to say it's a sad day for collecting in my house, and a lot of pics been sent via internet.

If you have the choice doug, never, never use UPS. I had some parcels arrive looking like they been through hell and back, this never happens with parcels from anyone else.

yeah i suggested using usps, but ups was handier for him i think. not that it was the shippers fault. the ups store did two out of three thinks correct.
first, they did have an excellant box that was lined with sheets of styrofoam.
second, they wrapped each item with 2 layers of bubble wrap.
but instead of putting cardboard or sheets of styrofoam between each item, they just put styro popcorn around them, so of course in shipping they just shook around until they were hitting each other.

i guess the big lesson here is to either never buy items that don't have original packaging, or make sure they are not sent with more than one per box.
oh well. in my mind the only ones at fault is ups, since they did all the packaging, and they can't blame anyone for poor packing.
thank god they were insured.

So now my Exc. Green Goblin LSB will be here Monday, I just put an order in for the Stealth Iron Man Exc. today, and I have the Venom Exc. on preorder.

I still would like to get the Hulk and Thor. I'm hoping they make a Magneto, he has to be my favorite Marvel villian.

I think Mags has a very good chance of being made. They've already made a Comiquette.

i just received apocalypse exc and noticed that the nameplate is not made of polystone. the apocalypse nameplate is relatively light and appears to be made of vinyl possibly. the nameplates for wolverine, iron man, and daredevil lsbs are made of polystone and are more substantial in weight. i wonder if this is the start of a trend towards non-polystone nameplates for lsbs. cheers.

btw, like i said before, ss did a hell of a job on this one, i think it's one of their best ever light up features imo.
one of the only ones that really adds something to the statue.
