Second episode was pretty entertaining too. It does look really low budget though. I really dislike the effects they used for the "Hard Light".

So it looks like
she may still be Inhuman after all since her power appears to be coming from her, and not the Bangle. The Bangle may be something akin to the Diviner in AoS.

I'm actually looking forward to next week.

Holy crap episode 2 was pretty **** good better than the already competent 1st one!

She is amazing!

Iman Vellani does a really good job bringing Kamala Kahn to life. It really helps that she's so familiar with, and a fan of, the Ms. Marvel comic and Marvel comics in general!

Years ago I used to buy loads of cheap second hand comics at boot sales and fairs, and would always pick out the early issues of series I didn't even have any interest in.

I still have the 30 cent Ms. Marvel #1, though it has '10p' written in ink in the middle of the 'R' from a time when newsagents didn't really care. Must've been a pretty good exchange rate at the time.

#3 is a UK version printed with '12p' instead of '30c'.

Never had any real interest in them so probably only ever flicked through them once.

It's nice sometimes to open up the filing cabinets and look at the cover artwork (especially for Batman and Detective Comics).

30¢ was big money for comics back in the day! :lol

I remember that whenever I saw the "Still only (insert price here)!" explosion art on a comic book cover I knew the price was going up! :lol  :lol

I couldn't believe the exchange rate was real, but The Bank of England's records for 1977 show it was around $1.70-$1.80 to the pound.

At that rate the comics should've cost at least 16.5p, so we were getting a better deal than American readers for some reason.

I don’t want to see religion in a superhero show  C’mon Disney

Other than that this show is fun

I mean this isn’t the first time we seen a church in a marvel film. In Spider-Man 3 we had Eddie brock praying to God to kill somebody lol.
That was a tidbit that didn’t amount to anything ..The whole Mossk scene..ugh..I get the director saying this is my Arab culture…Who freakin cares! In a superhero tv show

God..this is what I hate about the society we live in now..religion should not be showcased in fictional entertainment :pfft:

She's a teenage girl growing up in a Muslim family with strong beliefs. Religion is ingrained in just about everything they do. Trying to reconcile that upbringing with her goals/dreams (& pending superhero responsibilities) is a big part of her character. Not acknowledging that on the show would be a disservice.
