I think I like it.

My hesitation comes from the fact that, despite the yellow costume being historic and classic, I have never really liked it. It doesn't gel with the image/persona of Daredevil.

It's a good live action interpretation of that costume though.

In the context of this live action interpretation of Daredevil though (from his own series up to now), I just wonder... why?

Like the colors, but the MCU (and to some degree the Netflix) costume designs are all so homogenous. Panel lines in the same places on so many of the suits, whether it's Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, or Taskmaster. They got their suits from different sources, yet all of them look like they're getting ready for motocross.

Colors aside, I'm glad they're largely keeping the Netflix look. I always really liked the S2 re-design of it -- looked like something that was easy to move in yet also provided protection.

Stan Lee and Wally Wood, for 6 issues (1-6), then even they realized how ridiculous he looked and put him in red. Probably the fastest costume change in comic history. Using it for this show after already introducing a nice red suit for him is just silly. His black suit would at least make more practical sense.

He won’t be as dark in his own show either so not really surprising, they’re gonna try and soften the blow by having him in She Hulk first.
