I’m sure he’s here right now just under some stupid new name lol

Have you ever seen Difabio and Otomofan in the same room?

He always had phases of activity then he'd disappear for weeks or months. A commendable ability to quit the forum for long stretches. I hope he'll drop in again sometime. His toy posts were always a great read be he talking about Hot Toys or NECA.
Might be due to his jail sentences lol

Now the narrative is that it is getting review bombed over it having LGRTVQ content in it.

Which I'm sure is partly true, but I don't think that's from the "professional" critics. There was a score on IMDB that has since been removed. I'm guessing that's where this type of stupidity is taking place.

So is it not legit to say something that you don't like in the movie? If you give that reason then you are a bad person and are now review bombing it? If you are an MCU apologist and give every Marvel movie a 10 that's not review enhancing a movie?

What it's referring to did take place on IMDB, and it was hundreds of people who haven't seen the movie yet giving it a score of 1, due to the content and themes you mentioned. So, no ... I don't see those as being "legit".
If one wants to take the time to post a review of a movie to some online aggregator, whether it be positive or negative, one should probably see the film first. At minimum.

Probably some clown or a few clowns with a bunch of accounts to spam it now media gets to run with it like it is really a bunch of people. Lol internets. Those critic scores are rough on there lol.

Funny. I saw a YouTube video today on this very subject. At time of that video there were 794 Twitter bomb "10" scores to 348 "1" scores. Chew on that and tell me again who is really "review bombing".

I’m glad it’s getting bad reviews and I hope it doesn’t do well. I don’t want to see any more z list trash characters. This isn’t like the dark times when marvel was cut in half. They have there best characters back again .

I don't think giving something a 10 (or any score, for that matter) without seeing the movie first should be considered legit, either.
We all know why certain low scores are getting press, and if they solely trash the movie for the LGBTQIA themes or diversity present in the film, then they deserve to be dismissed and ignored.
I liked Kumail Nanjiani's comment regarding this:

"Looks like we're upsetting the right people."

Yep - it would also save them having to spoon feed the audience crap as to why none of these characters helped out against Thanos.

But the point is, there are twice as many Twitter users propping it up with a "10" score simply because they are in favor of the agenda politics being forced into movies, (which apparently you are too). The media spins it like a bunch of @ssholes are ruining the score when in reality there are more idiots who want woke political garbage forced into existing revered franchises doing the same thing, except twice as bad.

Why are political agendas being shoehorned into movies at all? Especially into franchises like Star Wars etc that have nothing to do with today's polarized political landscape? I think that is why most people downvote stuff like The Eternals, not because they hate any specific groups of people. Source material, lore, and existing characters should be respected and telling a quality story should be prioritized over one's personal politics.

Then they should be dismissed as well. Again ... especially if they haven't seen the movie.
And I'm not in favor of any of this, nor am I against it. I really don't care. If they want to make some ancient alien have a gay relationship, that doesn't bother me at all ... just like it didn't bother me before with all of the characters that had straight relationships. By rule, I stay away from politics in general. It's all a ****-show regardless what side of the aisle you stand on. When it comes to movies, I'm fine with equality and representation, though. I definitely don't champion it and fight for it, but I don't let it bother me, either. I don't watch (and enjoy) these types of films for their political agenda or message. I'm just watching the story.
If people want to give this movie a poor review based on the story, acting, or the craft of the filmmaking (which is what most of the negative professional reviews point out), then that's fine. It just drives me nuts that any of this **** has to even be an issue.

Mild spoiler, but a first for an MCU movie...which sounded odd to have in there.

A *** scene?

So nobody remembers Tony Stark pumping and dumping that blonde reporter in Iron Man......in 2008??
