Hopefully IMAX Alita is on the way now too.
Makes sense from a business stand point. Apple does it every year with new devices. I really don't get why each film doesn't have a "director's cut" to have another iteration of a film to buy on dvd/br/4k. Looks like that kind of product really does sell and is usually favorable to what was put out in theaters. What does it matter if another cut is out there when the money is rolling in?

Not only is Jane Punisher Extended not out on 4K it’s not even out on regular HD! :gah:

That stuff somehow gets by me. I get the initial release and somehow never hear of director's cuts or additional footage releases. You and Khev are on top of it. I just want a 4k non-special edition SW OT collection. Damn Lucas.

Well those are both available right now for ANH and ROTJ if you know where to look. Harmy's Despecialized ESB does the job for that film until 4K80 is released.
I got Harmy's ANH/ROTJv 2.5 and ESB 2.0. Don't know if they are 4k or not. I don't even own any other copy of SW, that's how much I hate the SEs.

Thank you!

With a little digging you can find them and download them for free. You don't even need to burn them onto a disk as all 4k TV's have a usb input and a media player built in. These are all fan editions and really shouldn't be paid for as you are letting someone profit off of others hard work. No parties involved ever sell them. They even ask you on their sites to please not pay for them.

I'm a member on MySpleen, but they no longer give out invites. Otherwise I'd be able to make it easy for you to find them.

Took some work for Harmy, so if I can get that one I'll figure this one out. Yeah Harmy plastered all over it that you shouldn't be paying for his edition, although I see his being sold on FB and other places.

Too much work compared to just clicking Buy it Now, lol. And I need my physical discs with custom cases and official looking artwork. If someone wants to go through the trouble of downloading the files, putting them on disk, organizing the artwork, printing the paper, and putting it in a plastic case for me so that they fit in with the rest of the movies on my shelf then sure they can have a few of my bucks.

And I already donated to the Team Negative guys to help make these versions a reality so they have indeed benefited financially from me and are "profiting from their hardwork" as they rightly deserve.

I have so many different versions I've downloaded. I picked up some blank dual layer BD's years ago, and even bought an Epson printer that can print directly onto blank discs. While my friend bought an external BluRay burner. But I'm too lazy to ever make myself hardcopies... :rotfl
