what worries me right now is that the Marvel roster so far is pretty much all re-used characters from their older games. The only new guys so far are Deadpool, and semi-confirmed characters like Super Skrull and Dormammu, and out of those only Deadpool is interesting if you ask me... I really want to see new characters for this series like Dr. Strange, Ms Marvel, and Luke Cage. Capcom's side got Dante, Frank West, Chris, and probably a lot more new guys on the way. We really need to see the Marvel side getting the same treatment.

Just remember that there may be licensing issues on some characters. :(

It's a bogus list bc Marvel does not want any of the Fantastic 4 in the game

From what I understand, they aren't putting the Fantastic 4 in the game because it would be 4 characters that look alike and that's a large chunk. It would be weird for them just to have one of the Fantastic 4. So to compensate in this new one they are (rumored) going to add Super Skrull, since he kinda could play like all 4 in one.

How do they all look alike? Thing almost never wore a costume that looked like the others, Torch would presumably be in "flame mode" as a default, and the other two are different genders and sizes, though their outfits would be the same.

Maybe I misspoke. They are 4 characters from 1 franchise. When you have XXX franchises and only 30 or less spots to fill with characters from all of those. Dedicating 4 (maybe 5 if you want Dr. Doom) is a HUGE chunk and the Fantastic 4 is just not that hot of a property for Marvel probably.

I would agree with that, though I think FF are as iconic a Marvel property as there is. They were the first major Marvel team, anyway. Seems a shame to completely neglect them in this series, even if they don't want to include all 4. But I would surely rather have all 4 of them over lame b-level characters as they had in previous games (Blackheart? Marrow? Omega Red? Silver Samurai?).

But I personally don't see the Fantastic 4 as a game seller. If they are missing, it won't stop people from buying the game, especially when they have Dr. Doom in. Where as if they include some unique, and more obscure characters, they can grab some people who really love those characters. Just my thoughts I guess.

If anybody from F4 it would probably be Johnny or Thing. Silver Surfer could be likely too?

i rmemebre in Marvel v Capcom 2 where being Jill Valentine one of her special moves was sending Zombie dogs at her ememy.
