Those effects were incredible. Can't wait for the finale. Though with Captain Marvel 2 out next Friday we might not see anything for a while.

FANTASTIC episode. Tom really brought it this season.
EVERYONE seems to have brought their A-game. All the actors are putting in 110%. Natalie Holt's music is incredible. The pacing. The set design. The cinematography. The characterization. All great.

I never would have predicted that "Loki" of all things would be running circles around so many other MCU projects. The quality divide between Secret Invasion and this is enormous.

Really good so far. Loki used to be one of my least favorite characters but he has really grown on me. I will say though, Sylvie kind of feels a little redundant and pointless this season compared to last.

Well... there it is.
90% of her screen-time this season has literally been working at McDonalds lol. She's a great actress and a great character(atleast in the first season). Pointing out her as the weak link this season isn't the end of the world.
Please save me your ********. Thanks.

Couldn't be bothered to create a new thread for the 2nd season?
Since it's a direct continuation from the first season, and there's only 6 episodes a season anyway, I don't have a problem keeping it consolidated.

I will disagree with anyone saying it's not memorable. That cartoon clock alone will stay lodged in my mind.

The only worthwhile mcu show. Season 2 is very interesting and acting is on point. Not afraid to think outside the box and try things new which is so unusual for the formula driven MCU. I think I might actually care about these characters.

Show works as a good metaphor for the perils of relying on the multiverse plot device. Its literally been over used to such an extent that the temporal loom / mcu is now at the point of collapse. Kevin Feige and his mcu execs of the TVA are desperately trying to course correct in real life but will they do it in time before the whole of the MCUs existence comes crashing down.

You captured my sentiments exactly. Every single episode has so many gorgeous shots and phenomenal acting.

The really eerie cold opening was incredible. The muffled sounds and the tracking of the camera as he's stumbling around... so good.

Also everything getting turned to spaghetti throughout the episode was unnerving. Especially watching the horror on their faces as they watched it happen near the end.

The scene from the record shop was definitely a standout as well.

This is the only thing MCU related since endgame where I've been really captivated and glued to the screen.

I don't care about how it'll fit into the greater MCU picture or how much plot they're covering and resolving. I'm just invested in this show as it is, not how it plays into everything else.

This is 100% the BEST Disney+ show Marvel has done. Tom Hiddleston is brilliant and everyone
involved in this show should be proud of how it came together. Absolutely incredible.

So wish there were 8 or 10 episodes to enjoy, but I cannot wait for the season finale...
and hopes for a season 3!

That's really not saying much.
I like quite a few, but "Loki" is certainly on a completely different level.

Best praise I can give it is you can not give a crap about the entire rest of the MCU and I still would recommend this show. It works well enough on its own. It's themes and storytelling work so well independently of whatever else is going on in the MCU.

Five episodes in and the gang still hasn't resolved S1's cliffhanger.

I'm jus' sayin'.
What about it? S1 ended with Loki being sent to the TVA's

past. This is why Mobius and Hunter B15 did not know him. This is the past that predates the 3 Time-Keepers, when Kang/He Who Remains himself ruled the TVA (hence all the Kang statues). This is why when Loki pruned the wall on the conference room, the 3 heads of Kang appeared.

He spent most of the first episode time jumping between the past, present and future of the TVA.
