Yeah that attitude just don't work. Movie versions are inferior to the books and comics and graphic novels are just books for kids?

I still think this is fun little weekly diversion. I'm not taking any of it seriously or worrying much about how it aligns to the rest of the MCU. The animation is fun, the voice actors are solid (particularly enjoying Ruffalo) and the stories in general are fun. All good for me.

George Lucas had that kind of attitude. Not sure if he thought certain mediums were just for kids as all made him money, but he had a tier system of importance. IMO the books/comics/videogames surpassed his movies.

But really this What if stuff is just another riff on the movies they already made, essentially selling a product to you twice. The doll with a new hat kind of thing.

Another crazy episode this Zombie one :lol I like how the Pyms are once again playing the villains the animation is getting worse though on some of the characters :lecture

I've come to appreciate voice actors as even established actors in big films fall flat in animation. Animation is fine except for the dialogue sync. Last 2 episodes are out there which is what this show needs to be. Makes you wonder if any of this will be featured in multiverse events.

I like how Wasp took out the uber powerful zombies right off the bat 🙄. World would be cleared out of zombies already lol.

I've mentioned that I've been watching "What If...?" to a couple of friends of mine who are semi-big Marvel fans and some of them haven't even heard of this, can't blame them.

I’m rewatching the Captain Carter episode ..since it’s an alternate universe I guess Stark had the technology to create something computerized like the hydra stomper back in the 1940s.

Also I wonder why Peggy was unmasked as the Captain..I guess because of the time, maybe they thought her being a woman and a super hero soldier wouldn’t be a threat to the armies so she didn’t need to disguise her face or it could be her long hair would look bad in a mask :dunno

as for the Killmonger episode…eh
