I was looking at new 360 degree turn around and found this...:banghead
Looks like we may have another Floating hand statue coming our way...
Also, the arm position and shirt is bit different from AH's drawing...
Anybody feel that it needs to be fixed ?

sorry....took me a while to look at the fingers.

Anyway, ...what?

as far as it differing from the drawing, the sculpt was done from a sketch and that drawing was done after the sculpt was already complete.

what "Iron man painting error"?
forearms are gold on the sculpt, but red in the illustration

While I would like this little error to be fixed (the floating hand), it won't matter when she's displayed because that hand will be in the back.

I don't need to pose to be 100% exact. It's based off Adam's work, not a complete copy of it.

I like perfect stuff when i pay perfect money for it.

I have no idea how they are going to pack these but I'm assuming there are 3 pieces (base, MJ, basket w/shirt). This isn't going to be a one piece item and it would be extremely hard to get the hands on the shirt perfectly. Hopefully she has some flex in her arms and they can be moved a half a mm.

It still has to make sense. It looks idiotic without the second side in her hand.

People are way too accepting of crap like this.

I hate to tell you, but nothing in this world is perfect, so you might as well put your wallet away and become a hermit in a cave...

Yes, it needs to be fixed so that at least the hand appears to be touching, even if it really doesn't.

I feel sure it'll be fixed.
I cant imagine it not being fixed
just a proto-glitch.

reminds me of the shots of the Bowen Bisley Spiderman/Venom.
Notice spiderman's left forearm connection isnt smooth and Venom's perfectly flat foot isnt touching the base, its hovering in the air.

it'll be worked out before production

Probably fix this with a hairdryer and about 45 seconds. Similiar to what you alot of people had to do to get the spike strait on the Morgul Lord Statue or the Legs in on a RWOS.

I shave my head. I don't have a hairdryer :monkey2

Let's hope they fix this in production, because SS has been able to handle stuff like this in the past. Case in point, the Sam and Bill the Pony statue. You can't get any better with how those two items mate together (no pun intended). Sam's hand with the rein matches perfectly with Bill's neck. Nuff said. Sideshow should be able to handle this. No collector should want to tweak a product that can't be resolved by a top notch QA team at SS.
