Just got this guy off eBay. I have never even heard of the company... Master Made? There is almost no identifying information in the box, but o'well. A nice little prop replica that I thought was cool. Enjoy the pics!

Looks pretty good quality :)

It's really quite nice. The silver parts are all metal which is always nice. The only downside is the "glass" portions are really just plastic, but it still looks great. As you can see it looks fantastic lit up, but unfortunately it's battery powered only. I am going to get a battery converter so I can keep it plugged into the wall and on for longer periods of time.

That's a really good looking replica. I like the fact that the Arc Reactor is metal but I'm not a fan of the ring that surrounds it when plugged into the base. Is it removable? I'm having a real hard time deciding between this or Toy Legends version.

The reactor is removable from the ring but the ring itself is permanently attached to the base as far as I can tell. In fact when you remove the reactor it becomes a wearable piece for a costume or cosplay if you're into that. I'm not sure why they went with the weird outer ring at all. The Toys Legend one is nice in that the entire piece is accurate to what is shown in the film. This version is nice in that the reactor itself is more detailed, but the surrounding ring is a bit weird.

Do you have the link?? It looks amazing. I cant find it anywhere. How much did you pay??

I bought this on eBay, and sadly I don't have any sort of link. I haven't been able to find this ANYwhere but the guy I got it from on eBay. It doesn't seem like a one off piece but I really don't know. By the way if you are at all savvy with building models, painting, etc, you may like the arc reactor replica I bought. I made a thread about it here: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...-Tony-Stark-Has-a-Heart-quot-gift-(IMG-heavy). It's been really fun building it myself and it is more accurate than any other replica I have found.

Thank you, but it is out of stock (cant add to cart)

You bought it for 70 bucks? That is great price. congrats

Yeah, the guy originally had it up as an auction with a starting price of $75. NO ONE BID! So he relisted it as a Buy it Now or Best Offer with a Buy it Now price of $75. I offered $70 and he accepted almost immediately. I feel I could have probably gone lower but $70 was fine with me:). I am working on wiring it to run off outlet power. Since it's on batteries I almost never have it lit, and it looks SO much better lit up. The little Vibranium element is just a piece of plastic with some inlaid lines to look like it has depth to it... pretty cheap overall but it looks nice next to the reactor.

It's a nice piece. Hopefully my pictures give you guys a good idea of how the item really looks in hand. The ring that surrounds the reactor and all metallic parts are all made out of metal (except for the really small details in the center of the reactor). The stand (the part that is black) is all made out of plastic. The clear portion that you might think is glass (the part where the light shines through) but it is plastic as well. The piece overall is relatively light but the metal does add a nice little heft to it. As I said the Vibranium core and the little stand it comes on are all made out of plastic with a small metal information plate. When lit up this thing really does look spectacular, though, so I say if you are on the fence, go for it. It make a great shelf display piece AND can be used for Halloween or Cosplay.

Looks ok, the stand doesn't look anything like the screen version though.

Which version is it meant to be exactly?

It looks like the Arc Reactor that Stark made in Iron Man 2 but, like you have mentioned, I have no idea what that metal ring is supposed to represent

Unless they litteraly are just making their own display for it, which is fine I guess

I really, really wish there was a way of getting hold of a replica of the original Arc Reactor from the cave

I love that one. Just the whole raw look of it. The museum replicas version was just the front apparently

I linked to this earlier, but here is a version of the cave arc reactor I found on Etsy that I am working on. It is actually a kit that you have to put together yourself, paint, etc., but it is more accurate than almost anything else I have found. https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...-Tony-Stark-Has-a-Heart-quot-gift-(IMG-heavy)

I am currently in the process of making my owner version of the museum replicas' "Proof That Tony Stark Has a Heart" gift that Pepper gave to Tony as you can see detailed in the pictures in that linked thread.

This is the arc reactor it is supposed to be, as well as the stand it is seen on in the movie, from Iron Man 2. I do believe they were obviously just going their own way with the stand and clearly not trying to be movie accurate at all. Below the linked picture is another arc reactor replica made by a company called Toys Legend. It is more accurate to the movie with regards to the stand, but it is lacking in detail on the reactor face itself. It also cannot be removed and worn, if you're thinking about that at all.

Still frame from Iron Man 2 movie

The detail in the one you picked up is very cool, i do like that about it

i wonder if it could be placed into the toys legend stand, hmmmm

The reactor is removable from the toys legend stand, so I guess it is possible. When you remove the toys legend one it is very deep, however, so I am not sure if the more detailed one would look weird in there or not considering it is flat to accommodate being able to wear it for cosplay.

Here is the stand with the reactor removed...
