i have been buying 2 of each...1 to open and 1 to keep carded but i'm kind of starting to think it's a waste of money to have a set just sitting in my closet when i have some on my shelves open to enjoy.

Nah, display them both a MOC collection and then ur open collection around the desk area or some shelf.

I prefer them posed all together on display then cramped up in their boxes. I have extras of He-Man and Skeletor that I keep carded I guess for the sake of doing so, it was initially to balance out shipping but I've chucked that to the wind. The packages don't really remind of the vintage ones at at all, they're short and they're green.

just got my zodac. he was on the mintest card of any of the figures i have bought yet...which i immediately opened. i really dig him and he is prolly one of my favorites, if not the favorite, atm (sorry mer-man). true, much of that though is due to the nostalgia thing. great looking figure.

I agree it looks nice but still prefer the original. I like his feet with the toe nails coming out, more of an animal feel.
