That looks more like the card back and style guide sword rather than a Filmation sword. A Filmation sword came with She-Ra and that has a distinctive shape.


Does anybody plan on parting out their NA He-Man? I need a new helmeted head?
But i would buy a MIB one too!

They ARE. They Were Both ALREADY Confirmed.
They're either in 2014, or 2015 . LIKELY 2014, as they are, in my opinion some of the "stronger" characters. I anticipate AT LEAST ONE ( Rio-blast) will be in the 2014, and the other WILL be in 2015, if they're not BOTH in 2014.


To get 2015, and be 100% to see them BOTH, we've got to see 2014 first.

TL;DR. He needs to sub, they're confirmed :lol

Yes, that's correct, Aaaaand your point?

People have been asking to atleast know what figures to expect in a given year, even if they can't show us proto's, OR tell us what month is what.

We got a conformation that the goal in the next two years is to get every figure that had a vintage counterpart a release. Not sure why this is a point of contention for anyone.

I think we'll see both Rio Blast and Ninjor in 14...2014 is the stronger year,but I think Mattel is not taking chances and is treating 2014 as the LAST year just because 2015 is going to be a harder Sub sell.One reason being is that prices ARE going up again for 2015

While the meter gives us a percentage of sales to date, though not in real time, do we know what that number represents? If the meter says 38%, how many actual subscriptions is that? Isn't it possible that we may have already reached a level of sold subscriptions substantial enough to justify moving forward? The begging and fear mongering are actually just part of the game and that Scott is determined to sell a specific number that Mattel management tells him is high enough to fetch him another bonus? It would be to the 4H's benefit as well as I'm sure they must get some financial incentives the better the line does.

I don't mean to fan the flames of conspiracy but I know in my job that management and leadership have purposely mislead subordinates and twisted data to net year-end bonuses despite our agency supposedly suffering from the financial freeze.

While it would be a shame to end the line without completing everyone's wish list, I would hope that everyone understood how we arrived at this point - that the champions of the line at the helm, who insisted on so many of their personal favorites, were humble enough to accept their part in souring completists and turning them away.

I have hope that the great market for third party Transformers figures may reflect a future for everyone hoping to finish off their sets - I'd be interested in third party classics if the right talent could pull it off! Mattel obviously only wants the fans money under ridiculous circumstances ...

I don't believe the meter sales for one second

if it was REAL TIME,then maybe,but because they update it only 2 times a week,it doesn't reflect actual real numbers....they say its illegal to fudge numbers,but who is there to prove that are not doing anything illegal to begin with? they can still lie about the numbers because how can one protest the numbers or sales if the meter is not a REAL TIME meter...Mattel is in control and can see the numbers.Now if someone like John Wesley was given actual data straight from Mattel up to the minute to prove the current numbers are REAL and legit,then I would believe it....

Mattel saying its illegal to fudge the numbers is Bull! because they ARE the ones controlling what is released to begin with
 
As far as it being the Filmation Sword, I just called it what the web address said when I opened the image in a separate window on Mattycollector.

If they actually were trying to copy the source material, then it would be different. Just look at how different NA He-Man and He-Man are. Hair can do a lot to change how a figure looks.
 
At the very least by not giving real time updates which should be drop dead stupid easy given current technology they're controlling the information. There's a lot of grey area there and I'd be the legality of it is grey as hell as well.

Seriously, though, does he come standard with the Horde symbol? Or is that just fwoosh messing around?

Becuase its makeing me start liking him.
 
Yep, the Horde crossbow and symbol aren't standard issue for Batros.
Those are Hordak's and FFM. But I gotta say, I like his Horde look quite a bit!! :rock!

This is his weapon, which is kind of lame for him...
