King Grayskull is probably my least favorite figure of the line so far. I'm a completist so I had to have it, but once in hand, and out of his box (I bought him from member here loose), I wasn't that impressed. Very limited articulation.

Now that's attention to detail. They even sculpted that sexy fold between her leg and her ass that drives men crazy. :lol

Unless that's a joint.

how much did you pay for him? I was thinking of getting the bronze version but seein the prices on ebay holds me back.

I got Skeletor, King grayskull, He-Man, and Stratos (all loose) for under $200, forget exactly how much.

I had them all sealed, but didn't decide to get an extra figure to open until these had sold out.

I have both King Grayskulls MIB from last years SDCC. Wish I had bought more. I bought two, both were bronze, flipped one, and then payed ebay prices for a color version.

agreed! while he's is kinda a neat figure...he really isnt part of the 80's line that I grew up with...I could do with or without him

From FourHorseman today

"someone had spoken to one of the Four Horsemen about the November release. It's supposed to be a surprise and something we wouldn't expect. It was described as more "deluxe".

any guesses? that rules out trapjaw :(

its a deluxe villian? king hiss?

Hmm.. Villian.. deluxe.. who they want to be a surprise. Well damn, Modulok really is all I can think of. Off to the .org archives!

Wish it was Ram-Man or Trap Jaw

King Hiss could be it (another heavy hitter) and has removable armor body or be a seperate figures

I doubt its King Hiss/Hsss as Matty/Toy Guru said they didn't want to release ALL the leaders in the first year. I would bet Hsss to be a year two figure though. And really if we get one "deluxe" figure a year I think it's pretty good. Maybe Modulok this year and Ram-Man next year. I mean hell, this line is doing way better than they ever thought.

if its a villian then maybe Keldor :) Multiple heads, staff, and the two swords (half and full)

Considering that the November re-release should be Skeletor.. not a bad idea. Assuming the re-releases will be monthly with He-man in October. They did say October for him right? Hmm drinking while on the boards is never good.

not my post, but wanted to share

So first of all, I've never given a con report so I'm just going to bullet point things. Second this isn't all Masters related but the majority is.

I spoke with Cornboy, told him how much I loved pretty much everything they do and then playfully tried to get some new info out of him.

1. He might have been wrong about release dates but he told me Hordak was June's release, MAA was July's, He-Ro was the con release,
Tri-Klops was the August release, Teela was September's, and Webstor would be October's. He would not reveal November and December.
However he did say that November's release would be a huge surprise that no one would see coming. He also went on to say that it
should be more of a deluxe release. I don't know what that means specifically and he would not elaborate. I think he realized that was
something he shouldn't have said and sort of clammed up after that.

2. The base body type for female characters in the MOTUC line were not the same as those used for DCUC. The completed Teela figure on
display proof of this, as the hips are wider and the thighs thicker that the Hawkgirl figure also on display.

3. Webstor was also on display and looked fantastic. I did not ask any questions about him though.

4. Both of the 2-ups for Egon and Ray were on display, but not behind glass. They looked fantastic and you could see the articulation. They
will not have all the same POA that DCUC and MOTUC have. He characterized them as more of a collectible piece and not toys.

5. Bill Murray has NOT yet officially approved his likeness. Cornboy told me that he heard Murray saw and liked the prototype but they need
him to sign off before the figure can be made. There didn't seem to be any worry in his voice about this and Mattel is going forward with
production. Strangely enough, Dan Akroyd does have the legal authority to approve the figure although he won't do so. The 2 up for
Winston will be on display in San Diego.

6. The 12" figures are NOT made by the Horsemen. In fact they had nothing to so with them. It's all Mattel on them.

7. Even he has trouble finding DCUC at retail.

I did not attend any panel discussions b/c no one really shows up at WW Philly unfortunately. Case in point, DC and Marvel were both no-shows. I do have some pictures and will try to upload them later.
