I am almost ashamed to admit I just lucked out on these. I casually ordered the He Man and Beast man without knowing the demand at all an by the next day it was sold out. I knew the release date for Skeletor but forgot about it, then one day i remembered and agian casually ordered it and again, the very next day it sold out. Then I went on ebay and saw this 150 dollars a pop nonsense. Damn I thought the 30 bucks shipped was bas to begin with, this is like my favorite line of the moment after I got He man And Beast man and GASP!!! Tore them right open. I feel as if I've murdered a puppy and I don't regret it either! These just kick ass! They had better release more because everyone deserves to have one and not pay crazy black market prices.

They're only selling so high because of your friendly neighborhood scumbag scalper. They're the ones buying them all up so fast leaving very little to the true collector.

And considering I'm not a fan boy, it's pretty telling that they've sucked me in.

Great review Michael but I have to say the paint ops on your Skeletor weren't the best. Mattel needs to be more consistent with their QA.

I was impressed with the subtle shading on the body of the figures... I expected it to just be cast plastic, but was happy to see the extra bit of work.

Agreed! The airbrushed look is one of my favorite features! Wish they'd use that on the DC guys.

Yeah, I really wanted to get into the DC line, but the quality just wasn't there for me to want to devote the time and money into tracking them down. Also, for some reason none of the stores locally carried them.

The legs on my Beastman are a little loose but it's a really great sculpt! I'm kinda looking forward to seeing a Mossman using this mold!

Gonna give it a try. What do you write in the payment method when you have to write what card you will be using? I tried once with "Credit Card" "Visa" but nothing worked.

I'm anxiously awaiting Skeletor too.. Price aside, it's hard only getting one a month. By the end of the year that's only going to be 12 maybe 13 figures...

Anyway, my He-Man continues to battle Beastman!

I don't mind the one a month. It gives me something new to order every month that isn't to expensive and something new to look forward to each month...

Not that I have heard. I'm looking forward to stratos next month though, he was one of my favorites growing up...of course, I had several favorites..

did you order through usps??? I made that mistake with heman and beastman and it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get here. Skeletor I had within a week of ordering him. He actually got here a couple of days before heman and beastman... I'll be using UPS from now on!!!
