Opened up Skeletors the other day and man these guys look even better in hand. They are still MOC but he looks amazing sitting there in his bubble

I agree, if they keep up this level of quality (which doesn't seem like an issue) I think fans are going to stay very happy!

Actually, a bunch of hardcore fans seem to be pissed about this...
there's a lot of hate going on at the He-Man.org forum...
regarding the line and how Mattel is handling it...
I personally love them! So, !!!

I'm asking for the specifics as well, I just don't see it getting any better than this!!!

and thats the way they should be...the 2002 stuff doesnt belong in the classics line..the 2002 line is cool for what it is, but these are the definitive MOTU Collection....heck! even some of POP can be part of it...only because evil Horde is involved

yeah the org forum reads just like the SW section here. the biggest complaints i see are from MIB collectors not getting a mint package after X number of returns. all my packages have looked pretty good. wonder what they are expecting from a blister pack being sent in the mail the other complaints involve 200Xers wanting the 200X line instead of the classics. lots more love in this little thread here. we must have real fans on this board.

I grew up with He-man as one of my biggest collections (Along with GI.JOE and Transformers) as a kid....as far as I am concerned the 2002 stuff (while still cool) doesnt exist anymore due to Mattel reproducing super articulated Classic Style figures.
the 2002 stuff should of really been the Classics...but I know, Toy companies are always trying to re-invent everything

I collected He-Man as a kid and had almost every single figure, vehicle and playset from the 80's line. As everyone can see from my Avatar, I'm a true He-Man fan and I love the new Classics line. These figures capture the essence of the classic He-Man, I see no flaws or shortcomings, just something good updated to be a little better.

Word. Yeah a lot of the folks on heman.org are a bit b_tchy about this line. I too am a life long fan (I have a complete collection of the US released line) and I think these new ones are awesome! They took everything cool in the modern action figure, combined classic designs elements, and even managed to sprinkle a couple of cool ideas from the 2002 line and...BAM! we now have the coolest action figures on the market.

I collected some of the 2002 line and have all the staction waves, but when I look at them now (though they are pretty good figures) theres seems to be something missing. IMHO the new Classics line has captured that and I believe it has to do with the roots of the original He-Man and the MOTU line.

I saw that, but he wasn't a Mattel employee, he was just reporting on what he saw. Hence my crossed fingers.

I won't be able to spend too much time at the show but I did go to the Javits Center yesterday to pick up my ticket and they had a massive life sized Faker statue outside the main hall. He's holding his sword in the "Power of Grayskull" pose...which made me wonder, what would Faker be saying in that situation?
Anyhoo, I'll have my digi camera with me so if I see anything cool I will post pics later tonight.
