I posted this pic a while back. but here it is with my custom Tomar Re (which I haven't had the chance to paint back then). the hands were an easy swap and so is the head but it wobbles loosely on the neck. You need to tighten the space with some putty and you should be fine.

My friend and I have been looking for the wave 14 for his collection but no luck. haven't been to a toys r us for a while so i haven't seen the 2-pack.

FYI, the Green Lantern box set is on clearance at Wal-Mart for 29.99... at least at the one in Oakland. Still, that should be the same nation wide.

Don't count on it. Wal-mart never does a nation wide clearence from my experience. In fact, I'm not aware of any chain that does a nation wide clearence. But $30 is a STEAL for that set! Guy and Tomar usually sell for more than that alone. So you get 2 worthless figures, another Hal and 5 good lanterns for free basically.

Didn't find the Green Lantern set, but got the Gotham 5 set for $29.90 at Wal-Mart yesterday. Got Wave 14 Zatanna and Green Lantern also. Good way to start my collection I guess.

It's confirmed here in Orange, California. I got the last set at the Buena park store for 29.50. I wasn't planning on getting it but for 50% off. I couldn't resist. I am including a photo of my receipt in case anyone wants to print a copy and take it with you to your local store as proof.

I don't collect this line but I do know that the box set never hit shelves at the store where it was later on clearance. Never made it out of the back I guess.

picked up the lantern 5-pack yesterday on the way home for $30. huge steal at that price imo. especially since i don't have any of the figures in it or any versions of hal, john, etc anymore.

Hunnipot - the only star sapphire coming out is from the comics. Toyfare February is supposed to show a GL classics line from the movie but I doubt it would have Star sapphire on it.

Yes, Green Lantern Classics series 2 has Star Sapphire it in.

FYI, Wal-Mart in south Alabama was selling DCUC figures for $11 a few days ago. Not sure if that will be the case anywhere else.

Also, strangely, the tag didn't say "DC Figures" it said something like "GA Green Lantern Assortment -- $11.00"

Thought that was weird. Could have been referencing the GL Classics line, but are those even out yet? If so, would they already be on sale?
