They sort of released the PG rated version of Barbara Minnerva, but that sure seemed to be an accident and most people couldn't get it. Maybe you did, but I sure didn't.

As much as I love this line, I hate the idea of the subscription. I did the math a while back and for Wave 17 I ended up paying 115.00 total for 7 figures and a CNC figure. With the subscription it would end up over 205.00 for the same amount of figures.

I know Mattel is just re-naming the brand to please their DCNU masters but that subscription thing really just put a damper for me.
Plus, so many oversized HT figures to plan for.

Buttmunch is right though, That thermometer is bogus. This sub thing will go through. It's just Mattel's way of getting people to panic and sign up.

For Catwoman, anything but the Jim Lee crap design. I'd take the original togs, the purple dress and green cape, the Balent purple with black boots, the Timm gray...never saw any of these.

I don't recall Batgirl ever wearing a skirt...

Barbara Gordon Batgirl didn't wear a skirt until the animated show "The Batman" but the character has worn a skirt in the Silver Age when it was Betty (Bette) Kane.

That gauge hasn't moved since the day it was released. And after more than a dozen people claiming to subscribe in another forum, I seriously doubt it's real. That or Mattel expects a high number to subscribe. Which is stupid given that there was barely any forewarning about this event and giving it a two week sign in period.

Atrocitus, Jay Garrick, Starman, Poison Ivy!, and likely Metron (there was a prototype shown on the Horsemen's site for a while before Matty made them take it down). Shouldn't that be enough for people to subscribe?

I've been having this constant throbbing with my back ever since SDCC. I finally realized it was Mattel stabbing me in the back, thanking me for 20 waves of patronage.

Ivy is a nice announcement. Hopefully that will boost some sales of the sub.

I agree though, Mattel really is taking advantage of us on this.

I'm really shocked that Mattel is playing so hard with this. You'd think that the DCUC line wasn't selling or something...

To be fair they've had a hard time selling DCUC on mattycollector.com, but part of that was poor character choice and competition with the same figures at retail. Atrocitus, Jay, Ivy, and Metron would definitely sell, though. Sticking them in a subscription line that probably won't go forward is a ____ move.
