Just comes down to which brand you like better. If you want a nice sculpt in one pose, DCD. If you want a nice sculpt and articulation, DCUC. I only have the DCUC one and its one of their best figures.

Thanks BM! I prefer DCD over DCUC but wanted to see if there is wow factor with the DCUC GA. I just put a DCD Brightest Day GA figure in my pile o loot at BBTS. They got 3 more left if anyone is looking for him, but the DCUC GA is sold out.

Okay so I have a little rant and want to get this off my chest so I apologize in advance.

So I was wondering what does Hasbro know that Mattel doesn't know? I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything of that nature but I was looking at my RML Thor and I looked at my DCUC Superman and I just had to go what happened?

The new ML Thor shares all of it's parts with the SDCC exclusive which probably paid for all the new tooling, so it's essentially a repaint. I get what you're saying though as Mattel seems to be behind Hasbro most of the time. I can't imagine how bad they might be without the Four Horsemen.

I will never understand why Mattel hasn't rolled out double-jointed knees and elbows to main characters like Batman or Superman which have been proven to sell over and over again at retail. It seems like the Batman Legacy/Arkham City figures have been pretty successful and had a lot of new tooling as you already pointed out.

Anyone buying the DC sub this year?

It's a pass for me, since there's not Batman related in it. But I was going to be one of the dreaded cherry pickers anyway.

For general DC fans, I think the assortment is a nice mix, though.

Same here. I think it's a pretty good bunch of characters but I don't want any of them. If there were some Bats family or Secret Six I'd do it but oh well. Hope it goes through for the life of the line.

Excited for the rest of this years figures though. Ivy, black mask and doom patrol/metal men teams complete.

I bought in but I think there's too many suited characters being offered in the next 6 months or so.

I think more Bat characters would have tempted a few more subscribers but also pissed off some others considering so much Bat product being offered in the Unlimited line and everywhere else.

They made some good choices...very good in some respects with Rita and Lead but it just looks like too much water under the bridge. The fans are sick of the bs. So many missed opportunities, miscues and mistakes. If it doesn't go through, it's Mattels own fault.

Found these at TJ Maxx for $15 each to go with Robin

It's ironic that you use the new marvel legends thor to make your point since that is just a straight repaint of the San Diego exclusive.

Aside from that, I agree with all your points. Given that, however, I am glad to have in my possession every DCUC figure done. Mattel gave me an opportunity to collect DC Characters that has a wide range of recognition from A listers to D listers. They didn't do too much multiples of their characters which I would have considered a waste; unlike Marvel legends. How many wolverines did they produce? Right now I am so invested with this line that I do get angry that the price is going crazy, subscriptions are almost forced on me, and not enough accessories.
But I look at my collection and say, "damn. I love my DCUC collection"

Updated my collection and the setup. Removed it from the wallpaper style and bought some cabinets and some plexiglass to keep the dust off.

:thud: NICE..!!!

Bumping this thread, just wanted to let you guys know that Batman in the Young Justice series 6incher could be found on EBay for retail. I just purchased one for $22 shipped. MIB US seller

Great deal. Looks like around $30 shipped is the best deal left on ebay currently. I still need to snag one of these at some point.

Does anyone have any c & c parts to trade or sell? I have some to complete and some extras to trade.

PM me if interested.

I tried the sub for the first year but decided not to continue on the second. The price for each figure just became too much with each individual shipping. Having said that, I think almost all the figures came out top notch. I am not into constantine or starman but they did a good job doing them. I think the most disappointing was Atrocitus because he looks so small, should have been oversized.

And for this year's lineup Flash figure is the disappointment so far.
