Many thanks people! The body is a made by CM Toys and is articulated with seamless joints using a rubber Skin. I plan to scratch build his shield next and eventually want to make the other amours.

Thanks for the info. I have my Maximus on a HT Leonidas body, but yours looks more accurate to his build.

Yes I hunted for a long time to get the right build of body. The Seamless design means the body isn't as articulated as HT but Im going for realism on this figure over posability.

started building him a shield which isnt meant to be movie accurate but a custom styled one until I get round to building a proper one.

I have done some more work on his shield and embedded a lion crest from another toy shield I had. Once again this shield is not meant to be movie accurate and is still work in progress.
