McCready from "The Thing" (kind of) 1/6 figure from Hot Toys

Couldn't find a thread on this anywhere, though I assume others are aware of it. However, I JUST NOW noticed it today and can't believe I hadn't heard of or noticed it until now...

As part of their modern miltary line, Hot Toys will soon be releasing a new "PMC OPERATOR-PRIVATE MILITARY CONTRACTOR figure. And while it's not licensed or accurate to the film of course it is clear and obvious that this is based on Kurt Russell as McCready from John Carpenter's "The Thing":

It would actually require very little customizing (snow jacket, etc) and some minor repainting to make turn this into a kick-ass McCready figure.

And, again, I can't believe I just noticed this!

And it's listed as "07 Version". Was this figure released before??? If so, I feel even more inadequate.

That's the other one I was looking for, but was spelling 'MacReady' wrong.

It's funny, I've been reading how this guy was the spitting image of Russell and for the life of me I couldn't see how he looked anything at all like Russell Crowe.
