Brilliant work ! :rock

Hot toys should make an official of this guy ! :rock2

Yeah, that PMC head works great. Nice job, Ashton16!

I was too wussy to want to paint on snow aps on mine, but after seeing how nice yours looks with hem, maybe I will! Here's a few fun photoshop pics of the one I did. I also made a Childs using a Sideshow PLATOON "King".

Your MacReady is awesome! See? I took the easy way out by gluing hair on mine :lol That's one helluva sculpting job.

Where did you score those thermals?

The HS on that King figure is perfect, too.

amarcord: I dunno who that dude is...but he's my new hero.

The thermals were a major find for me after searching for a few years. They come with all of the Saturday Toys "Prison Break" prison jumpsuit sets that can be found at places like Monkey Depot. I'm sure I've seen them parted out a few places since I got mine as well if you really look around.

That PMC operator head actually seperates into two pieces at the headband with just a little work. The headband/hair were just an attatchment glued on, with the bottom half of the head having a flat Frankenstien kind of top.

Your real hair looks very nice, but if you removed the headband top, it would rest lower and maybe you'd be happier with it.

I got that King back when he was first released in preperation for someday making him a Childs (yes, I'm that slow!). Unfortunately, I think he's pretty expensive now. :(

I've gotta be on the look-out for those thermals now.

Yeah I figured out about halfway through that the headband & scalp came off, but without it there wasn't enough scalp to perform the hair transplant. Basically I had a choice: Remove it, and have him look really retarded....or keep it and have him look only mildly retarded. :lol

I did shave a little off of the sides, and I know one day I'm going to go back and get him just right. I figure if I work long enough with this hair thing I'm bound to get halfway good at it, so MacReady 3.0 is inevitable (this is actually my second attempt).

You're right about King---he's pricey as hell these days---so I don't plan on getting a Childs in my collection any time soon.

Although a 1:6 thing dog or Blair monster would rock! :rock
