That pink, goopy, snake thing is mechanically separated chicken, and it’s used to make chicken nuggets and patties.
And if you didn't think that was bad enough, it's crawling with bacteria, so it will be soaked in ammonia. The ammonia makes it taste terrible, so it’s then flavored with artificial chicken flavor. After that, it’s dyed white so it looks like chicken again.
This is truly vile.

That is exactly what this is, or some other pink-colored ice cream. My first job as a youngin' was in an ice cream store and we made all the flavors ourselves. This is not mechanically separated chicken, and that blogger is biased, anyway. This was posted on reddit recently and others who know a bit more about the process also confirmed this wasn't mechnically separated chicken. I don't eat McDonalds, but even if I did, this photo and the blogger's claims wouldn't discourage me.

I find it hilarious when people post this kind of stuff. Like we didn't know that McDonalds is death in a delicious white grease soaked bag? For years, even decades, the media has been posting about fast food is horrible for you. How hard is it to realize that there isn't an actual "nugget" on a Chicken and assume that its processed?

I might get some nuggets tonight for dinner in honor of this thread.

McDonald's Chicken McNuggets SUCK! KFC had the very best chicken nuggets on earth! I don't know why they stopped making them but it was a huge disappointment to me. I had actually read that McDonald's sued them over the idea. But so many other companies make them that it seems unlikely...unless KFC's were the only ones that were better than McDonald's.

Edit - I did not read that McD's sued them. I worked at a KFC for 3 days just before they quit making them. And the manager of that KFC mentioned it. But I do not know if it was a recent lawsuit or an old one that he was talking about as KFC had been selling them for like 10-12 years before I worked there.

I knew this wasn't true as soon as I saw the pic, then after I read it, I knew it was BS. The author may be trying to discourage people from eating them, but stuff like this just has the opposite affect.

Same here! But a few years ago, you used to get Best Buy coupons too. And I got a ton of those.

I wish they had the tickets on the large $1 drinks. I get one of those almost everyday through the drive thru.
