Can someone that's done a body swap on this figure tell me if they had to remove the plug from inside the head and if so the best way to do that??

Yes. Boil and pop. Put the head in boiling water for about 30 seconds to a minute then grab a pair of pliers and pull it out. The hole is a bit wide for hot toys neck pegs so you may need to replace it with one of theirs. Or just drop some hot glue inside let it cool for a minute then put it on the neck post. Works every time for me.

Thanks for the tip Jedi jim. I got it off heating it with a hair dryer. If that didn't work I was going to try the boiling water idea. Does putting the head in the boiling water not take off the paint? That was my concern

No. The paint does not come off in boiling water. If left in there too long I'm sure it may but only 30 seconds it's never happened to me.

Looks a lot like that guy there that everyone says looks like a young Ford. :lol

Nice spot - yeah he does. I always kept thinking Bradley Cooper or the 70's actor Parker Stevenson with some Andrew McCarthy in there, but yeah - it's that young Ford from Age of Adaline.

To me he looks more like ford than the HT sculpt. I've had both in hand. Just the hair that's throwing it off. There's an excellent indiana jones mod out there that uses the unison sculpt to prove my point.

Yeah, that was Rahmier's - he's a 1/6 genius. The sculpt certainly has a decent chunk of HF lurking in there, it just doesn't often jump out at me as HF though. Hope you can nail it. You have great skills.

And the HT Han is not much of a benchmark - to me it hovers around the same level as the HT Indy.

I've got an unpainted cast of that nodded rahmier Indy sculpt. Not bad at all and it still holds up. Plus you can pose him with and without the fedora.

A tip for those 3 othee people that have this figure, you can lower the head by removing a few milimeters of the plug inside his neck. His neck appears overly long because it sits too high and it's an easy fix.
