Got my shipment notification from UPS. My shipment is listed as 18 pounds so I think it is both Kaneda and the bike.

Mine is due to arrive next Monday......and to think, I almost had to travel for work next week. Glad I avoided that.

UPS?? Is that standard for US customers, or did you have SSC change your shipping method from FedEx to UPS??

Sideshow usually ships packages to me via UPS. I didn't ask them specifically use UPS. From how I understand it, they just use the carrier that they can get the best shipping rate from at that moment.

Bike & rider on their way here too. I thought the shipping on these two would be a big slap - but $63 to Oz is pretty good considering the bills from SS in the past.

Pity I don't have any room for 'em - some stuff is gonna have to step aside I think. Nice pic breakers!

My bike arrived, but I haven't had a chance to open it up yet. Kaneda shipped and is on the way as well.

K my initial impresssions is that this bike is awesome!!! I just love the design and quality of this bike. It's got a nice weight to it so it doesnt feel cheap, I love the lights and sounds and the mangnets make putting all the covers on a snap!! No pics though, camera isnt working Now I just need Kaneda!!!

Got my bike today too. I'm really pleased with it. The only gripe I have is that I do not like how the handle bars don't have a solid middle all the way through them. The plastic seems to go about half way through the rubber grips and then stops leaving the ends flimsy.

Other than that this thing is great. Not sure if I am going to keep the bonus cowling set. I don't like the idea of having the same set of decals for both sides of the bike. I wish there had been two different sets of decals rather than just a duplicate of one. Might just put it up on eBay to help bring the cost of the bike down some.

I should get my Kaneda by the end of next week. Then it'll be time to start working on a custom display base for these!

Anyway... how do you open the battery compartment?? I can figure it out!

The bike is awesome and very well made.
