Medicom Neo and Trinity advice

Hi fellow 1/6 collectors, I’m trying to expand my movie 1/6 collection, and I’ve been thinking about getting a Medicom RAH Matrix Revolutions Trinity figure and a Medicom RAH Matrix Reloaded Neo figure. I noticed they are extremely pricy right now and I was wondering if they worth the price.

From Captain Toy, Michael Crawford's Action Figure and Toy Reviews I noticed they are great figures with good reviews…mostly Neo. What it’s bothering me is the lack of Trinity’s articulation and I was wondering if this is caused by the female body used or by the skin-tight tailoring suit or both? Also I would like to know if some one has tried to swap bodies with another brand like CYgirl small chest, Volks, Obitsu or even another more articulated Medicom female body…?

trinity's body has limited articulation. and i believe the catsuit is sown around the body.. even if you manage to get it off and have the tailoring skills i dont think it would fit well on anything but a skinny body.

Drunk_leprechaun is right about Trinity, except that Trinity does have a zipper for her jacket, but I don't think there's one for her pants.

I bought one and feel it's a waist of money, it has very limited articulation, and the suit won't likely fit any type of body that I know of, maybe a Perfect Body with a small bust, but I'm not sure.

Those are both my old reviews. Neo is a great figure, but I'm hopeful someone else may bring out another version soon.
As far as sculpt and outfit are concerned Trinity is a fantastic figure, but the body has worse articulation than Barbie. I was shocked when I unpacked her. I have her in storage but I seem to remember you could undress her, however the tailoring is so tight and specific to the base body it might look odd on anything else. But if you can go for her just standig or pointing her guns, then she is still pretty sweet.

Medicom Neo's price has dropped lately. You can score him on eBay for around $150.

Another good alternative is Triad Toys' Theodore DXF, though I notice it's no longer on their site.

Yeah, the Triad version looks nice. I ordered that one a while back, looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Have Triad Toys improved their production quality since their Enforcer Bale sculpt? The pictures looked SO much better. Is that always the case with them?

I got her a bunch of daffs, a prawn sarnie and a double whopper skinny expresso mochachino with sprinkles from the wild bean cafe, she loved it, slapper!

nice. a real brummy romantic outing.

i just hope hot toys releases a whole set of matrix figs one day. i had a chance to buy a trinity for about $120 but i passed coz of wook's review - she looks incredible but the limited articulation just killed it for me.

I got Theodore DXF on order wtih Triad. Its very likely they will produce a Trinity in the near future too based on hints in the news letter.

Rather than the Medicom I'd recommend grabbing a Chosen One outfit and sai from Triad, and sourcing a Neo headsculpt from someone.

I'd hold out for a Triad Trinity.

I've got the Enforcer DX Final Edition and the head and paint is nothing short of stunning. I've got Natalya as well and its pretty good - much better than the Bale. Next week I'll have Jillian so will be able to comment on that.

Enforcer DX Final Edition is Ty Diggs. Comes with two outfits. Used second outfit on Bruce Lee.

I second this. It seems to have disappeared into thin air. Think Louie may have gotten a C & D letter? I hope not, as I would REALLY like to get one of these....

I looked at a Theodore just a few days ago on Ebay and it said "84 available." I doubt they sold that many in such a short time. The fact that he's totally gone from the their site (no "sold out" listing) can't be a good sign.

well if someone forced them to take it down, i hope they have the good sense to tell someone from the matrix camp that there is still demand for 1/6 matrix figures. that way we might see an official release at some point.
