Good Stuff To Go have the Chosen outfit in both cloth and leather still available.

I don't think they did get a c&d letter - the ebay store is largely defunct now that triad have their own website operating and stock numbers there aren't in addition to stock carried through the website.

but the actual triad toys website seems to not have the product listed anymore. it's in their news section which is a good sign. but other than that even searching for "theodore" returns nothing

They changed the layout recently - it used to list archived products but doesn't seem to post change. You can't see the Sanchez DX for instance.

thanks for clearing that up dude. i'm really glad it's not been taking off the shelf. it looks like it could be an awesome fig. i may just get the outfit like you suggested (thanks for the suggestion!).

Due to the lack of options for 1/6 Matrix figs, I may have to look into picking up these Medicom versions.

Hopefully this will become a reality:

threezero is seeking the rights also.

Yeah, I was reading about those news tidbits on the forums recently. The Iconic Toys fig looks pretty good.

I am hopeful but who knows how long before they finally come to market. I think Iminime had a pretty good Neo sculpt but the prices are a little high for the complete figure. Plus, I have not seen too many decent Trinity 1/6 figs out there.

I have the Medicom Neo - The one from Matrix Reloaded. Its an alright figure, certainly hasn't aged well.

Let us not forget the infamous Medicom height which gives Neo a Tom Cruise height.

However the shades cover enough of the face to make that plain paint job bearable.

Over paid for it at the time. Skipped the Trinity figure, it at least looks ok, but basically has no articulation. The suit is so tight, can barely even move her legs.

You're getting +rep for actually finding a 7 year old thread using this crappy Search feature!

Do I receive negative rep points for finding this thread through a plain old Google search (and not the forum's search feature)? :lol

How much were your figures purchased for?

You mentioned you overpaid. I ended up paying about $100 each for them today3

Did some due diligence about the Medicom figures and found that I could live with the shortcomings (plain paint job, lack of articulation on Trinity, etc). I did not realize Neo had a Tom Cruise height. :lol From a far distance and at the right angle, the Medicom figs look good. But I agree that they have not aged well and do not compare to the current 1/6 market standards.

I was watching a youtube review of the Gentle Giant Trinity statue (on bike) from I think Carlos OneSixScale - he said a 1/6 NEO would coming shortly from an unnamed company. It's been a year since that video review was posted and still nothing (I wonder if that was related to the Iconic Toys news we got recently).

I pulled the trigger on the Medicom because I was losing patience, the other Matrix lines could be years down the pipeline. Plus these are officially licensed and relatively affordable (compared to customs).

I think they are ok. The suit jacket is still one of the best I've seen even up till today. The sunglasses are the most accurate matrix ones.

Face sculpt and painting not up to modern standards. But I really don't mind.

It is still one of my favourite pieces. Sold off many other things over the years due to downsizing, but always kept neo.

I paid about USD300 at the time for one... and this was back in 2008-2009 ! ! That was a lot of money. HT figures were $100 at the time.

Since there were only 2000 pieces produced, and was the only existing Matrix figure that looked decent, I impulse bought it. The damn body broke down after 2 days, had to buy a new medicom body to replace it. Was a pain in the ass, cause you cant just pop the head out like an HT. You need to unscrew the body, open him up, place the new head, screw the body back in place.

At the end of the day, I still like the figure, and it will be a memorable piece from my earlier days of collecting.

After today's announcement, time to replace our Medicom figures with Hot Toys.... in 2020.

For all their flaws, I still like the Medicom. And they were good for their time.
