Wants to do clockwork orange eh? but says probably will never be able to.

He is apparently a big fan of the work of Stanley Kubrick and in fact that's one of the reasons that Medicoms block figures have that name. The other reason is that "Ku" means 9 in Japanese and each Kubrick is made up of 9 parts, so "9 bricks" = Kubrick.

I really want medicom to make these figs:D

Lonnie, thanks so much for pointing these out :) We really love President Akashi, and he IS a very genuine and nice person. All of Medicom is great, and they were so excited to come and visit!

The team from Hot Toys was here last week for the very first time, and in interview and spotlight video are in the works for them as well - watch upcoming newsletters for that one :duff

I want to see more videos like this! I can't wait to hear from the HT team.

No problem Dusty. I loved the interview and with all the excitement over Obi-Wan and Indy, I figured people might miss it. Can't wait to see the Hot Toys interview! Maybe next time, you could ask for questions from the peanut gallery before the interviews occur?

Don't know if Dusty is still around, but I just wanted to say again how amazing I think the partnerships and collaborations between SST, HT and Medi are.
Simply fantastic to see such brilliant companies working together!

Kudos to all of you and here's hoping to see much more collaboration between all three.

Yeah, I pronounce it that way too :monkey3

BTW, I would love it if they, or someone could get the rights to Kubrick films... a lot of great potential there.

I wish they could get the Inuyasha 1:6 license. They would do so much better than Toynami (who ain't done ***** with it). :emperor

I'd think with their reputation they'd be able to score a license as high profile as that. I really don't want to accept the fact that I'll never see a 1:6 Sango. :monkey2:monkey2:monkey2
