Re: Medicom RAH Bruce Lee

He is pretty cool. For Bruce Lee though, his body seems too square. Anyone else feel the same?

No not really.

Looks great!

Looks great, and at $150 or so I won't be afraid to actually play around with the thing. I'd be too afraid to do that with the Enterbay one.

Bruce Lee + RAH body = Fun!

Definitly...
Also why would you need those movable eyes function when you can get a cheaper version of Medicom Bruce and cast another head to paint the eyes to look another way?? LOL It's not like theres some sort of electronic function implanted in the Enterbay version where u can make the eyes move by a touch of a button. You'd still have to remove the hair to reattach another set of eyes... i think it's faster if you just switch between different heads

but I still don't like how the price is $150.
That's half of Enterbay, and if you think abut it, enterbay is putting up the same prices if you say the diorama is $150. which is what I'd expect of a 14" wooden diorama.

I'd wish medicom put the prices to somewhere near $100, like the wolverine X3.
I think they're taking advantage of the craze for an Enterbay alternative, ...

EDIT:
atually, relooking the prices.
the wolverin X3 is $150 on medicom's site, but its only $95 in other retail stores, so I guess we could expect the same for this figure as well.
WEEEEEEEEEEEE
I'm happy :D

I just rEAAAAAAALLY hope the prototype isn't so "inflated" in appearance haha

actually the only reason wolverine is so cheap in retail stores is cause SS is involved. if SS didnt have wolvie it would be like 130$.

but the bruce lee should be around 120-140$ after it's out.
(it doesnt say it's limited or anything so thats good)

Well i'll wait for the later releases of Enterbay Bruce Lee figures that are without diorama which would probably be cheaper... and hopefully they would look into the final paint app of the heads and rectify the problem.
For the mean time medicom's bruce does it for me!
it has this kick ass Bruce Lee trademark hands poses which you dont get from Enterbay GOD Bruce.

i wonder which sculptor is responsible for this great portrait?
eric so?
or the Japanese sculptor who sculpted the orignal portrait that wasn't too bad

anyone notice the wrist articulation has been altered to fit lee's posture more?

and yes the only reason why the wolverine was so cheap was because of sideshow... I remeber when it first came out and the pre-orders were $150 and up...Thats if you get it from Japan... but if you got it off a US retailer it was only $85.

Looks like it will have 5 left hands, 4 right hands, and 2 shirts. Pretty nice :chew

9 hands total?? that has to be the most hands ever on a RAH figure... beating Spiderman with only 8......

The paints look adjustable... like in the movie... he tightens it at the bottom... I only hope they included the tank top..

I wonder how they're going to do the slight after shave... maybe like wolverines? The paint opps on wolverine were amazing.. This should be no different.
