Medicom Spawn!!!

Just one more month until the RAH Spawn is supposed to hit US retailers!!!

Man, with him and Jabba hitting so close together its a tight month for cash Anyone have thoughts on how they'll be displaying this guy once they get him?

I completely forgot about this guy with everything going on. Never did PreOrder him but I definitely like him...if I can find a reasonable price down the road I'll definitely add him to my collection.

Anybody know if Sideshow will be carrying either of the Spawns???

(And no, I didn't go back through and read every post in the thread, but just skimmed it, so don't shoot me if this has been brought up before!!! )

Either Spawns? Do you mean RAH and VCD... because as far as I know there will only be 1 RAH figure. But either way it does not appear they will be carrying these... although a few online retailers have them for around $120 ($130 shipped).

I ordered mine from Cornerstore Comics.

Glad to see some Spawn people here. I have multiple bins of these I bought back in the 90's. I have a set of Japanese repaints from one of the early series I bought through the club. Vertebreaker, Violator and some others. Can't ever find them to see what they are worth. Does anyone here know? Don't mean to hijack the thread. I'll be buying this medicom version.

if ur talking about the early smaller plastic figs they aren't worth much at all these days. sucks because i ran around like crazy to find Malebolgia (sp), the Werewolf from that other Image comic, Hamburger head Spawn, ect and they're not worth much at all now.

The Medi Spawn does looks amazing. Medicom really outdid themselves.

I actually thought about buying this for about 10 seconds until I remembered A. how much I hated the Spawn comic and B. how much I hated Todd McFarlane. (He's a talented artist but as a person he's garbage IMO.)

No offense to any Todd McF fans.

Ugh. I don't know how many of the McFarlane toys I have but I do remember spending an amazing amount of money on the cyberlink Spawn series from a scalper Toy Store that used to exist about 20 minutes from my house. Now I couldn't sell it for the price of one....

Yeah, its amazing how the price on the Spawn figures went south so quickly. I never got too into them... just the random figure every now and again from McToys. Although one could argue if it weren't for McToys we might not have as good of a action figure market these days. They really pushed the envelope... and then got stuck making 8" statues

But I always thought Spawn was a cool character and design and really wanted to someone to make a 1/6 version! And after getting Comic Spiderman, I think Medicom is definitely the company that can pull it off!

I have a feeling we won't see these for a long time. I mean, the VCD and bearbricks have been out since early last month overseas.

Yeah, the figure looks great. I just want to see an in hand review of him first. I know that Medicom can pull one of these off, but I'd still like to see an in hand first.

I have the Comic Spiderman and it rocks ass, so i figure the Spawn should be a done deal. I think my only concern is that his cape will get to be a problem with posing... even though its poseable that thing has too be heavy!
