Enterbay is only doing the headsculpt, so there's a good possibility that the same Medicom issues will plague this release.

Yeah, close to $300 USD...I keep waiting for the missing picture where they show the other figure this comes with...or the $100 worth of accessories.

Makes me want the $170 Bulma figure...

$300 for what will likely be a nice sculpt COMPLETELY ruined with the poor production paint, a character I have never heard of, undersized scale, shoddy tailoring, cheap plasticky accessories and.......oh wait, that's all you will get for the cost.

According to Bill's tweet, the actress requested slightly bigger eyes.....she ought to send that request to medicom for bigger something else....

Bill also mentioned that the 3rd & 4th UU releases would be Hollywood heavy-weight material (literal translation from Chinese).

we haven't even seen a production version of the 1st figure from this collaboration and people are already complaining about quality? how about we give them a chance? maybe the collaboration will up the game for both of them? alternatively, let's firebomb both companies' headquarters and kidnap their children, for burning our eyes with such hideous creations.

as for the 2 licenses so far... japanese company, HK company - makes sense for them to test the waters with asian characters in asia first. business wise it makes sense - keep it a smaller market, where the distributors are local and you know how things work, and maybe where customers are less discerning. see how it goes, if you can work together, what the reviews are like, and then go for the bigger overseas markets.

the price is high, but i doubt anyone will actually charge that. the RRP in japan is always so much higher than how much every store ever sells them for e.g. sergeant barnes RRP is 19,000yen. i can't find anywhere that's selling him for that much. almost everyone is charging 14-15,000yen. i guess that still makes this on the high side, but not as high as $300.

There's something else that's getting lost here -- a female RAH body with a modern solid neckpost. Aren't Medicom's female figures pretty much all armored anime characters? Have they made a female body since the SIN body back about a decade ago, when they were doing Lupin? I get that everyone says the actress is better-endowed, but when I see that body it says "perfect for a custom I have in mind" and then I remember that Medicom RAHs are the least parted-out of all figures...
