Geez, that is awful. :yuck I actually liked the prototype that was on display at SDCC so much that I ordered one, but will cancel now that I see how it turned out.

Man, why does Medicom suck so bad now?

Medi are capable of greatness, this however is appaling! Coupled with the recent shocking QC on the MGS Raiden figure is sad, they seem to be on the slide.
I hope not, they are a cool company with a unique aesthetic.... but here it just looks very, very poor!

looks like another "buy a custom head" figure. i wait to see some more pics before i comit to the buy.

i love lost but dont have any of the figures to represent it and im reluctant to buy mcfarlane ones because 7inc figs are lame. HT should have got the license for these instead of prison break.

If you are going to buy a custom head, there is no reason to even buy this figure then.

wow, something really got lost from proto to final. that's like 2000 medi quality. I think medi should really start focus more on their QC and less on their volume. (too many products.)

I was actually upset over having to cancel this. After seeing final pictures so glad I did now.

I love LOST but won't be buying this figure. Jack has always been one of my least favorite characters on the show but I would've bought this just to support the line in hopes of getting any of my other favorites (Locke, Charlie, Hurley, Desmond, Benjamin...). There is something definitely off with this figure. For now i'll just stick with my LOST Kubricks...

Medicom blew it again. First Freddie Mercury, now this. :horror

It's almost like MEdicom doesn't want my money.

I love LOST, but the toys we've seen so far just don't suit the property at all, IMO. McFarlane's attempt was, as most come to expect from McFarlane, good-looking but completely misguided and obnoxious in their attempt to be flashy and dynamic-Sun in her bikini, Shannon in her...bikini, and each character's figure is completely in a vacuum, like they make Jin and Sun in such ridiculously discordant poses that it would make your display look ridiculous. And with such a large cast, a toy display would look better and more recognizable the more characters you have on a shelf, I don't think 12" figures are the way to go either, just too darn expensive.

I think the best scale for LOST would be 3.75" figures, I just love the idea of dozens of 3.75" figures, with plenty of variants(Jack in a suit, Jack in his island garb, Jack with a beard)...you could even get playsets(come on...how awesome would a Hatch playset be?). I keep hoping that someone(maybe Mezco? Hellboy is probably the best 3.75" line I've seen) will announce a 3.75" line. But I'm about ready to just get to work on making my own figures.
