I am definitely looking forward to getting Mega Man 10. 9 was one of the most frustrating and awesome games I've played in a long time.

Cool. It's pretty obvious someone at Capcom or Nintendo has a sense of humor. Just look at that piece of artwork. Totally old school.

I must be completely honest though. While Mega Man 9 was a great MM game that was also a modernized retro flashback, it should have been the only one. Continuing like this just seems cheap and lazy, in my opinion. I like retro graphics, but the main Mega Man series already did that more than enough times. Why not do beautiful hand-drawn animations and sprites that could look like a modern Mega Man 8? (or recent sidescrollers, like Odin Sphere or Muramasa)

We need a game that bridges the gap between the original series and X. I was hoping this would be that epic game, looks that it's just another....well another.

I agree with this except for the cheap and lazy part (I don't think it's easy to make games like that, but I could be wrong). While part of me really loves the old school style, MM9 was enough to get me to "OMG" on last time. I would love to see something that looks like Mega Man X Maverick Hunters that was on PSP. That was a great classic game presented in a more modern way.

Whatever the future holds, I'm just glad we're getting more Mega Man!

Okay, maybe not lazy, but cheap. You know, MM9 only had a team of like, 4-5 developers. Seriously. The number of developers on deck doesn't mean laziness, I'm sure they worked their hearts out, but I'm sure the ratio of investment to profit for Capcom was immense. MM9 sold quite well.

I'll buy MM10 and I'll probably love like I did MM9, but this is the line, I think. If MM12 comes out and it looks just like this, then that's when it becomes lazy.

There was Mega Man Powered Up, a great remake of 1, but a little too cutesy for most people's taste, I think. Keep it like Maverick Hunter, and you'll have a winner.

Yea I was going to pick it up but it was far too cutesy and had that gay sailor moon animated anime look to it, that totally turns me off.
