I was always wondering, what is it with that artwork that makes Megaman look like an actual MAN instead of a little boy?

Nothing will ever top...

!!!!!

I'm partial to the classic Mega Man myself, but X is great as well! I have the X collection for Gamecube but it won't play on my Wii using component cables, and I have no idea where I put the composite cables. :monkey2

I can still play the remake on PSP though! :rock

It was just poor marketing to the west back in the day. Now it's there for joke/nostalgia purposes.

how is the new mega man? worth getting?

I love it so far, but I'm a Mega Man freak. If you liked 9, you'll like 10. You get more bang for your buck than 9 since Protoman is included with 10 whereas in 9 he was DLC. And if you get too frustrated, you can go through the game on easy mode (a first for Mega Man)

This game should be on a consoles by the end of the month (it's only on Wii as of today). Honestly, for $10, I feel like I'm robbing Capcom.

He was a man in the north american releases and an anime boy in Japan.

Heck they didn't even give him the "buster arm" until MM3 box art.

The press kit for Mega Man 9 had that artwork on an NES box. Inside that box was an NES cart that would open up containing a Gamecube disc. There is also a t-shirt with the artwork.

AFAIK, they didn't do that for Mega Man 10.

'Thanks' for that :lol. The idea for 9 is pretty cool but I really cannot look at Megaman in that form! Protoman looks alright though.

That was incredible. I think they even used a musical track from Mega Man X (or maybe X2?) and added cheesy lyrics for that fake 80's commercial.

I haven't even finished MM9 yet. sigh...but I feel like I should buy MM10 anyway.
