I know a lot of people give Gibson crap, and he's been having trouble getting his career back on track, hopefully this one is it!
:lol

I like Mel's stuff. I could careless about him yelling at his wife. I loved Braveheart, Apocolypto, etc. I'll still check his work out. I think he's an awesome director. Good to see him back.

I read awhile back that this was going to be a direct to DVD release in the US. Poor Mel.. I still think he is a great actor regardless of personal life.

I loved Apocalypto, is one of the best movies I've seen, I mean, I know he went crazy but, as an actor I still like him, I really wish he did more movies like Apocalypto,

I enjoyed Apocalypto as well, but this trailer does nothing for me, honestly. Part of the intended effectiveness of the trailer with the narration is to make Gibson out to be a funny, likable kind of scumbag. But Gibson's not nearly as likable as he used to be in my eyes. I'm sure part of it is his public behavior, but I think there has been a change in his performance level as well.

I've never not enjoyed a Gibson film so I'll give it a shot. Looks pretty fun in a senseless violence sort of way.

If its a Gibson movie I'll definitely check it out. The guy may have a lot of off-camera problems recently, but as an actor and film maker he's was and still is great. Even 'bad' Mel Gibson movies are better than 90% of other films.

Looks great. I agree with people here that despite his off camera antics, his on camera work is fantastic. LOVED Apocalypto in particular.

It's DTV in the U.S. I think it's called "What I Did Over Summer Vacation" or something to that effect in other markets. It could have a limited release like last years "The Beaver" but Mel has been blacklisted indefinately. I guess it's okay for raping an underage girl in Hollywood as Roman Polanski is still loved and actors want to work with him. Sorry double standard.

Is it just me or does Gibson always play some level of crazy in every one of his films?
That being said, probably gonna go see it

Ive always loved Mel Gibson movies that he has stared in or directed...I can't wait to see this one and I do hope that one day he will be welcomed back into Hollywood.

Can't wait to see this flick. As an actor, Gibson is dynamite and he's a damn fine director.

Watched this yesterday. It's a very good prison/action movie. Gibson was great.

This definately doesn't deserve to be a direct to dvd film.
