Strange how people's cameras pick up the colours so differently. I guess we shouldn't trusting any of these photos for colour accuracy. Look at the colour of Indy's bag. I bet it doesn't look that muted colour when viewing it in person.

I'd guess most of the photos we've seen from this event have been taken on a phone - and 99% of people don't know how to get the most out of them.

Saying that, the Henry has looked "good" in most of the shots, so color compensation, lens distortion, etc, shouldn't be making the Indy look as **** as it does. And the pant color... pretty sure JND employs a lot of people who have their eyes painted on...

At that price, the likeness and costuming would want to be immaculate. JND should be embarrassed.
Let's just hope we see a big improvement on the production reveal. Someone over on Statue Forum posted that JND had stated they'd heard the comments and will be trying to improve it. When I asked where that info was posted, I never heard back from the OP so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt at the moment, but keeping fingers crossed at the same time. I haven't had any response to the messages I've sent to them in the last couple of weeks, so I'm not sure if Daniel Na has been told not to deal with collectors directly anymore (which would be a shame because he was very forthcoming and enthusiastic previously).

After all you've done already - if they haven't got the message (from you and every other collector criticizing it), they're clearly just burying their heads in the sand.

So it’s $3k and you have to send the
statue off to a tailor to fit a proper color
and material khaki pant?

If I were getting this,
There’d be no way I could leave it stock
after seeing the proper tones on it as Cking
pointed out.

I put the correct size and style of Last Crusade Fedora onto one of JND's reveal photos and just added a little bit of shadow to the forehead. It does improve it for sure if only they'd reduce the amount of angle on those painful eyebrows!

You should be putting up everything you've done to every social media platform they're on and directly to them. I know you sent a lot, but if more people saw how these tiny tweaks can make such a difference I think there would be more people being vocal about the changes.

Just looked back at the Wonderfest pics - the way Indy is leaning back/standing, is boarding on physically impossible. I can't fathom how this has happened after the prototype stance - it's just bizarre.

An yet, Henry looks fine, even in these ****** pics???

They are updating the portrait (and hopefully other parts) to bring it up to the same level of excellence as Henry. It probably means it will be delayed but I don't have any problem with that if what we get at the end is as good as we were all hoping it should have been in the first place.

I wonder if they'll do like they did with Reeve and give another opportunity to order if the updates are as significant enough 🤔

I really do hope they have listened carefully to all the comments and studied the suggested alterations with an open mind to make the changes that are required. I don't think they take everything on board though because months ago after the re-order reveal for Reeve Superman, I did make an observation (like others saw) that the head looked a bit too small now compared to Clark but had hoped they would realise this too and not give us two statues with different sized heads. Sadly, according to Fettfan over on Statueforum, it seems that Superman's head IS still smaller than Clark's, which is a huge oversight on JND's part but I'm just hoping it's not too noticeable when you're viewing them side-by-side.

Holy crap :slap

That "thing" that was on display at Wonderfest was the production piece... they just released their update video and said the unboxing is next week.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaasseee, let it be the usual JND issue of not being able to take a good photo.

I know, I know... I'm lying to myself :pfft:
