Congrats to DarthRamuk and everyone else who is getting all or most of their money back from this travesty!!

Now, we can only hope that the credit card companies and authorities track Melvin down, sue him for all the money he ripped off, and then send him behind bars for a little while. That'll be a nice, hard lesson for him.

But hey...we should have a heart though. We can send him pictures and letters of all the quality Sideshow pieces we're able to order with that money!!! :emperor :emperor

That would be the outcome you would think. Bad man found, caught, jailed. Not likely. Are they really going to waste their time with a pin head like Melvin? Opps called him a name, but who is to know if he is a pin or not?

Who is going to pay? We are. Insurance will cover it, and they will return the favour by releasing the authorities from their obligations, with the solution that our premiums will rise. It was quicker and cheaper, in the old days, to just maime the bast. The authorities have their hands full with bigger fish, the ones that cost the insurance companies. Go back to start of paragraph.

I'm VERY wary of any new members suddenly showing up and overposting to build up their status in such a short time and claim relationships with customizers or purport to have "inside knowlege" about customized figures...

Most members here know each other and have known each other for many months and are simply passionate collectors. We all saw how melvin operated, showed up, overposted, used too many jokes, made claims and systematically scammed my bros here and it made me sick.

Some of us slapped melvin around from the very start as he began to "carpet bomb" threads with custom images, started threads entitled "how sideshow should have made anakin" or words to that effect and posted the vancei images just as members were receiving their sideshow anis, made claims about his relationships and made voluminous posts trying to ingratiate himself to members so I recommend all to be very cautious....

I'm a relatively new member, and Melvin has been around just about as long as I have. I was wary of him from the start. He came off as extremely greedy, just a little twerp. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me that he is a scammer. On a lighter note, congratulations to all those who got their money back and hopefully everyone will get a full refund.
