Eh... it might be in 3D, but I won't count on the graphics being any better. After all, the 3DS is a handheld, so if anything, the game will have to be compressed to a considerable size from its original format (similar to the few PS2 games that were ported to the PSP).

I've played and replayed MGS 3 on my HDTV set with a Dolby 5.1 surround system, so I think I've already experienced the best of what the game has to offer. But, of course, I'm just speaking for myself.

They should have at least made it MG 1 and 2 remakes from the old NES days, that would've been awesome. Instead we get a game I played to death 6 years ago...now only smaller.

Oh man, the 3D looks amazing ! It looks like Konami revamped the entire game, and Snake even has a threat ring. Pretty cool. Fine, fine, I eat my words. Definitely going to get this.

Anyways, yeah, Gamestop does give back your entire deposit (even Gamestop.com). But, you do have the option of transferring everything to store-credit. I won't recommend it though.

^^^I haven't pre-ordered from Gamestop in a long time, but they used to only give store credit and no actual $$ refund.

~~Kotaku was really impressed with their hands-on withthe 3DS and says that its probably as powerful as the Gamecube.
