I recently done me a MGS3 BDU Snake

Just waiting on the final bits to come in but here he is so far

Looks great, Frank! I think I could use one myself next year, if I find a spare Naked Snake. What did you used for the arms, hands and shoes? Anything else to keep in mind when converting him to a Tiger Stripe BDU?

I'm using the sleeves from the metalboss figure at the minute and I have the metalboss hands coming too but they are missing the flared but of the glove

I got some ace toys jungle boots on the way and need to get a knee sleeve as well as the head and he's done. I'd like to use a medicom undersuit ideally but I don't think that will happen

Not really its been a pretty easy bash to be fair apart fro my he gloves being next to impossible to find. The boot knife and straps that come with the HT figure have this really sticky rubbery glue so maybe just be careful you don't get it everywhere or rip the straps. I had to work the first strap over the boot and had to peel the second completely off

I've been doing that with all PAKs these days. Only exception was Liquid but I now regret that horribly.

yeah, its getting annoying seeing these things get great deals after you pay top dollar. i think that weve been holding onto for a while that well pay more money for them down the road but that only seems to hold true for solid, ninja, and all the variants. now it seems like you should just hold off as long as humanly possible to see what happens. it just sucks because it takes so long between releases to get one of these damn things that you wanna just get it so you can have something new.

on a side note, i did a little tweaking to old snakes sneaking suit hands. i found that they were mostly hollow and you could almost fit a hand in there so i trimmed down a left and right straight fingered hand so it completely filled up the hollow rubber hands. then i got pegs in there with needle nosed pliers so when i get the body hell have wrist articulation. the wrist pegs i used are pretty stiff so i know theyll hold. i also got standard hot toys feet into his boots by splitting them down the sides and regluing them closed. now i can slide a leg in there and get foot pegs to snap in nicely. i tried the upper leg expanders in the suits legs to see how they fit and they make snakes leg muscles stand out and get rid of the floppiness of the suit. the calves ill have to pad out. i think that ill be all set as long as i can get his upper torso through the rubber suit top. ill be satisfied with the new body in there without cutting the suit up. the old body was just way too scrawny and horrible. im really looking forward to completing this and having the right build and some better articulation. everything before was just way too smushy and loose.

I wonder if Meryl will ever decrease in price again? although I am really contemplating Miller. It's worth noting other PAKs seem to outsell the recent MGS PAKs like the DC ones in general...those are rarely on sale at this point.
